I could tell you this message

I could tell you about a friend
Who saves lives and cleanse souls.

Oh! If I could just write these words
If I could just tell this message to
Someone’s father, that struggling mother
to that sister or that brother

I’ll tell someone about a friend
Who gives you hope, who keeps you safe
Who sends the rain, who’s never late.
Oh the power in that name.

If I could just tell this message.
If I could just write these words
I would tell you about a friend named ’JESUS’
Who lives in my heart and deep within my spirit
Oh! What a Message I would tell!!!!
