Drawing a beautiful picture cannot compare,
To the sculptures crafted by The Great Master’s hand,
The pyramids erected brick by brick and stair by stair,
May one day fall in the Egyptian land,
God made man with an infinite capacity,
To do as he would with the land,
But, humans being curious with greed for veracity,
Tried to make themselves a God-Like Man.
Architects compete to construct on high,
And to bridge across the sea,
While Astronauts strive to live beyond the sky,
With artificial apparatus, they breathe.
Technology has made man a formative foe,
Against the Tree Of Life,
Scientists have put man on an even toe,
With a virginal birth such as Christ‘s.
It seems as though it was just yesteryear,
When the fate of world was decided…
It was in the days of Peleg, so I hear,
That the land on earth was divided.
The voice of man was one, for all,
As with race and ethnic origin,
Baal was the god of choice,
In the days of just one religion.
The people conspired to reach the stars,
By erecting a tower to the sky,
With the Tower of Babel it shouldn’t be far,
To reach the heavens on high.
The arrogance of man angered IAM,
The creator of all that it‘s worth,
“Lest man be cursed, destroyed and damned,
Division must be made on the earth.
Man must know, IAM a jealous God,
Place no idols before me,
The earth I shall strike with a mighty rod,
And divide the land between the seas.
With earthquakes and storms, man shall no longer be one,
In mind, spirit and tongue,
Confusion and mayhem shall overcome,
Thou curiosity to be one with the sun.”
Sodom and Gomorrah are days gone by,
With lessons unlearned from the past,
I bow down to earth with tears in my eyes,
For the times we are in, are the last…
