The spectrum of assignments is extensive and features a wide range of flexibility. A Lady Leader may find herself in the course of a week mentoring to a person who is preparing to enhance their life skills, to rolling up her sleeves and helping someone believe in themselves. These tasks can also range from developing a curriculum to provoke someone's God-given power, to being quiet and listening with an ear of empathy and love.

Throughout the many facets of Lady Leadership one of the most valuable for me is being a vault. I really can't recall when it happened, but early in the journey, I knew the importance of confidentiality and discretion.

A gossip goes around telling secrets, but those who are trustworthy can keep a confidence.

Proverbs 11:13

One of the worst wounds one can experience is after sharing an intimate conversation with someone whom you trust; you find out it has been shared. It takes an enormous leap to unmask, unveil and release. It takes a vault, a person endowed with the sanctity and respect of privacy to uphold such an honored position.

One of many definitions of the word vault is; a large room or chamber used for storage, especially an underground one. (Dictionary.com) A Lady Leader must have the capacity to value intimacy of the heart, as it will be used for storage. You will be privy to information which may have crushed the interior soul of the person who’s sharing and because you were predestined as a vault in their journey, you are present.

On another level of discretion, a vault is used for underground storage. As a Lady Leader, your confidentially is so crucial, that there is dialogue which is only shared with our Heavenly Father. It is carried as the pallbearers release us ashes to ashes, dust to dust back to the ground from which we came.

I never said being a Lady Leader was a simple assignment. I did, however; say it is an amazing responsibility. It is not always comfortable being the reservoir to hold the tears, the pain and anguish of someone who feels helpless and hopeless. Amazingly enough that very same person may be the one you are given the opportunity to witness their leap into the arms of faith, their catapult into a victorious lifestyle. And for that we give God praise and ALL glory!

May you be ever strengthened with grace in your assignment, as a Lady Leader!

Then the master said to the servant,

Go out into the highways and hedges and urge and constrain [them] to yield and come in, so that my house may be filled.

~Luke 14:23 (AMP)

This particular chapter in scripture demonstrates how the “Master” healed on the Sabbath… Something Unheard Of! A dinner was prepared and the “familiar” people were not to be invited. Who does that? Lastly, a great dinner was prepared and everyone had an excuse as to why they couldn’t RSVP. Have you ever felt like you were on the other side and everyone else remained where you left them?

As a child of the 60’s, I have had the opportunity to view numerous changes in society and technology. I was the one who thought everything could be accomplished with a Brothers typewriter and a Texas Instrument calculator.

I can recall when my parents, who were in their 50’s when I arrived, stated to me that their parents called television “the one-eyed devil”. I am fully familiar with placing a coin on the arm of the turn-table, so that a scratched record or LP (Long-Playing Album) would play properly. I was not upset that an 8-track made the harshest sound between one recording to the next track. Why not? Well, because, this was a part of the experience of the moment.

We now are in the age of social media, iPads, Smartphones, and numerous other forms of technology which allow us to go into the highways (the internet is the information highway), and into the hedges; areas which we may have never had the opportunity to conquer, due to various life restraints.

It’s so good to KNOW your assignment, and to be confident in the manner God has given you. The Word of God states the servant was asked to:

GO: Take action. Your go may be within your family, but go! Your go may be within the walls of a ministry, but go! Your go may be television, radio, social and/or physical media, but whatever form you’ve been given to transport His Word… GO!

INTO THE HIGHWAYS AND HEDGES: There is a fertile ground for the Word God has given you; your anointing must travel. Don’t allow it to remain dormant, because your gift is diverse. There are those along the highway, and those who may be buried within the hedges, who have a NEED for what God has given you!

COMPEL-URGE-CONSTRAIN THEM TO COME: Social networking can be used as one of the greatest forms of Evangelism. The key is to remain consistent; remain in a position of compelling them to come to Christ. Develop a spirit on Social Media so that when you post, or present a statement, it results in a yielding of the recipient’s spirit.

SO THAT MY HOUSE MAY BE FILLED: There is a reason for why you do what you do. The purpose is to bring such as should be saved into the kingdom.

However, we must be cautious that we don’t discourage someone else who may be reaching a group of people; or even one person you are not assigned to serve. I believe the founders of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Periscope and various other social media communities, may not have realized how much of an open door their platform would provide for the Kingdom.

We must be mindful not to condemn or speak harshly of others who have found a positive forum to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The ultimate goal is to lead others to Christ. While this may not be your chosen method of delivery, it does not mean it is not a productive form of delivery. Likewise, those who use social media (and the like) to communicate must not discourage and speak badly of those who don’t. There are numerous avenues to evangelize. Allow the Lord to speak to your heart as to which is best to support your assignment, and how you are to obtain good success therein.

Most forms of technology have the ability to allow Bible, Concordance, and Study Applications to assist each of us in carrying forth the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is not the exterior of bound leather, nor the interior of a distinct paper, which is the Bible. The Bible ‘contains’ The Word of God, so please remember that when compelling those to come… Jesus first stated, “…Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19) before Twitter was established. Also, before Facebook was founded, the character of friendship was established. “A man that hath friends must show himself friendly.” (Prov. 18:24)

The decision is truly yours; however, I would ask you to search yourself and become a Lady Leader, and come on over to…

Allow the Lord to DIRECT your paths, conversations, interactions, thoughts and plans.

Allow the Lord to PROJECT or expose your heart, ministry, business to those whom will celebrate your value.

Allow the Lord to CONNECT you with kingdom minded influential individuals, ministries and businesses are designed to propel your gift, talent and anointing.

As you have noted, each proclamation began with the word ALLOW; we are granted the gift of liberty to ALLOW the precious Spirit of the Savior to be first and foremost in our every decision or conclusion.

The actions, wounds, and hurts which have been launched against many, have caused emotional and spiritual walls to be built, and we therefore miss the “true” comrades which have been sent to assist.

Therefore it is imperative, that we allow or submit to the direction, projection and the connections the Lord has strategically designed, just for you!

I am excited and elated to witness your 2015!

During this time of year, if we are not careful, we will allow ourselves to become caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holidays. I truly love the holiday season, but I also value the time God has given me, and the tasks which are placed in my life.

I have heard the comment "I ran out of time" on several occasions from various people. Each time I hear it, I want to literally shake the person and speak into their life, as the scripture says in Romans 2:11, "God is no respecter of persons..." God has given each of us the same amount of time, however it is up to us to value, respect and honor the time given. We are held accountable to be the best manager of the time given us.

Habakkuk 2:2

“...Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it..."

One of the most effective skills in time management is scheduling. Make a conscious effort to value the precious commodity called time which has been given to each of us; a schedule gives you a template of your day. Mind you, during that day you may need to massage that schedule because we all know, 'life happens'! However if at least have a format of what your day should look like it removes the element of chaos.

Another vital tool is understanding and embracing your value. The definition of value I chose to discuss is "a person's principles or standards of behavior; one's judgment of what is important in life." (Merriam-Webster dictionary.com) Celebrating a standard of behavior which notates excellence. When your standard is not delivering on time, and your standard is constantly being late with projects, assignments or tasks, you lose credibility. This cause potential clients to feel as though they are unimportant, and lack value in your life.

As stated earlier, this is the time of year, where if we are not careful we will become consumed with the elements of the holidays. Therefore, it is essential to have a foundational plan. Construct this plan in a manner which does not build unhealthy constraints. I learned the lesson years ago that once you design a plan that is extremely rigid, it causes you to want to become unnecessarily anxious to complete the tasks outlined.

I began to seek the Lord diligently, because I didn't want to take for granted the gifts with which I've been blessed, nor did I want to not take into consideration the element or commodity of time placed within my hands. What worked for me was "writing the vision". You may say this sounds simple, but until you actively and purposely write what's in your heart, it remains a great dream with no platform.

I also had to learn in writing my vision, I had to write it with clarity, I had to make the vision "plain." In order to write this vision, I had to seek God to allow me to understand what He wanted me to do. It's vital to gain spiritual understanding and Godly wisdom in each plan, design and strategy.

Lastly, as I granted myself the "time" to formulate my assignment from God, I was then able to articulate it to others. God has given me an awesome assignment which is to "go ye", therefore I've got to be cautious, careful, prayerful, and recognize the "value" of the time, which has been invested in me. I believe as you read this you too shall seek the Lord, for a plan or design so that you may use your gift of time with a greater sense of value.

Once the word grief is spoken, in most cases our thoughts immediately proceed to the word “death”. As human beings we naturally associate certain words with others, in this month’s blog I wish to “enlarge your verbal territory”.

“Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.”

Matthew 5:4

Many of us have been introduced to the numerous stages of grief; Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance (www.grief.com). No matter what incident, accident, or direct action, each of us in some form or another have walked the stages of grief.

Grief is an emotion which if allowed, can consume your very being. Grief can become so overwhelmingly present, that it becomes a characteristic of your life. The things in your life which were once humorous, you now find offending. People in your life which were once close, you now keep them at a safe distance.

Yes, grief can be associated with death, or better yet…”the demise of”….it may be a physical death, the demise of a relationship, the removal of employment, even the absence of “what was”. Grief and the mourning process associated with it has entered my life in numerous forms. One of the losses was experiencing a partial mastectomy; the loss of a body part. Life has a way of delivering change and transformation, whether we are prepared for it or not. I can recall grieving "what was" and attempting to reconcile, what was now my normal. Did I have a right to mourn or grieve when my life had been spared? What an emotional rollercoaster....healed, but not realizing I was whole.

Physical illness may bring a change in long-term relationships, and some may grieve “what was”. Becoming the caregiver for aging parents transform the relationship from parent caring for child, to child caring for parent, this also presents a form of grief of “what was”. Experiencing the loss of familiarity due to mental illness of a loved one, most definitely can cause one to grieve…”what was”. Being a primary provider for the home, where you once were the dependent may stimulate grief.

When Jesus was teaching the disciples of the diverse characteristics and personalities they would be ministering to, addressing grief and mourning was essential. In an effort to move forward the emotional and personal issues in our lives must be addressed. Initially Jesus identified a lowliness in spirit, which may be identified as a state of depression. Jesus did not want us to ashamed or embarrassed, he wanted us to know, greater is coming! Jesus stated in Matthew 5:3, “Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Secondly he taught the disciples how to minister to those who were mourning. “ Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.” Matthew 5:4 While there is a significant lesson Jesus taught on this Sermon on the mount, these two scriptures speak volumes if we allow our hearts to receive the message. We must allow ourselves to hear and believe this present place is a “stop” along our journey to our greater home, not made by hands. I also believe another great lesson being taught here is that we are allowed to be comforted, we don’t have to carry the load of grief all by ourselves.

As a Lady Leader, each of us must learn first and foremost, that it is “okay” to experience grief. Don’t allow anyone to tell you that you can’t because of your title, your position or your gender.

Secondly, once you have identified that you are in a state of grief, take the necessary steps to move forward. If you are led to receive professional counseling, please do so.

Lastly, but most importantly, as you pray for comfort, allow yourself the opportunity to view all aspects of your grief process. Identify the source and allow the presence of His power to transport you into your healing! I’m a witness, it can be done, you too can....

Rejection has the ability to either motivate the recipient or cause the person whom rejection is inflicted to retreat into a cave of depression.

I am quite familiar with the antics of rejection, and have felt the pangs of pain which it caused. In my past I also used stimulants to dull the pain of rejection. Retreating to what I felt was a safe and secure environment was one of the many devices I used to build a wall of protection.

Unfortunately while assembling the bricks which I felt would be a refuge, only became a prison-a place of confinement which only accommodated minimum visitors. While I was diligent in designing the exterior of my life, little did I realize I was neglecting the interior structure of my spirit man, as well as my heart.

" But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good..."

Genesis 50:20

What I failed to realize, was that I was secluding myself from myself. I was not giving myself options, I only chose to accept the rejection and allow the terms which were used toward me to become me. How could I become so disillusioned with the statements of others; when I knew me better than anyone?

I had to make a decision, and proclaim, what the enemy meant for harm, God would turn it around for good and prosperous over my life! I will not say making the decision was swift, but I can say it was timely. Rejection raises its head in numerous forms. I cannot say one form of rejection is more devastating than the other, because rejection affects each individual differently. Rejection can be physical, mental, emotional or even spiritual. Rejection in relationships may cause the effected recipient to distrust, and form boundaries which don't allow anyone to penetrate. Spiritual rejection from leaders and colleagues can cause one to withdraw from kingdom assignments and responsibilities. Mental anguish and emotional stress manifests itself when rejection is afflicted upon others.

Rejuvenation began, when I realized the attack of rejection was to be used as a strengthening agent in my life. How could rejection rejuvenate me? How could pain provoke me? How could anguish announce my anointing? Rejection made me realize, there was something in my life so valuable, so important, so needed that the enemy would use drastic measures to cancel my assignment! Rejection unveiled the fact that the enemy "knew" that as a kingdom citizen, I had been endowed with power that he did not want me to use! As I began to value what was vested within me...I felt a surge, a quickening, an awakening....I was being rejuvenated for His use in the kingdom!

Joy became my strength, and love became my hope! I began to put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness! (Isaiah 61:3) I could literally feel the wind blowing on my dry bones, and they began to live again. I was being restored, into a spiritually, physically and emotionally healthy being...Yes I am rejuvenated! I now recognize, acknowledge my value, and wish the same for you. I stand in agreement with you that every attack of rejection become a stepping stone to your rejuvenated walk in power!

Unfortunately rarely does the data relayed in studies give the authentic and pure nature of the environment.

Demographic research allows the researcher to become privy to information such as cultural differences, economic status, educational background and various areas of information. Yet I must say the research will only divulge what is obvious.

A couple of months ago, I was having a very in-depth conversation, sitting in what I believe to be an upscale suburban neighborhood. This neighborhood sits in what I also believe and "statistics" have stated to be one of the elite counties in America. This county resides in one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the USA.

It took me less than an hour to realize that ignorance does not have a specific zip code. Ignorance is not a demographic, it is not a culture, its not an educational background of lack thereof. Ignorance is an unconsciousness or being unaware. It is the lack of comprehension in the most minor circumstance.

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee..."

Hosea 4:6

It is a dishonor to God to reject the teaching, knowledge and application of His Word. The scripture explains that the people of God are destroyed for the lack or absence of knowledge.

As previously stated, I was in the midst of a very intense time of ministry, in a beautiful neighborhood, the birds were singing, the sun was shining, the trees glimmering, and out of nowhere I hear and see the prime example of "ignorance". This belligerent example of ignorance continued to swear, sweat, while displaying a hand gesture with one hand, while carrying an alcoholic beverage in the other.

My guest and I attempted to explain momentarily our "rights" as residents of the neighborhood. However at this point, I believe the "ignorance" enhanced with the alcohol fueled an unhealthy situation.

While I understand, I along with my guest could have enlightened the person of our educational background, our religious standing, along with our multi-faceted ministry gifts and callings. But for some reason, I don't believe at the level of anger which was displayed it would have mattered.

As a Lady Leader, I chose to use the knowledge presented and act accordingly. The only knowledge I had at this point was the fact, "ignorance has no zip code." What would it gain me if "ignorance" decided to brandish a weapon? I made the decision to not perish in a moment which could be defused with a departure on my part.

I may have had a "right", but to argue the "reason" with someone who is displaying numerous aspects of ignorance is not wise. There are several possible outcomes to this eye-opening situation.

The aggressor may have felt she won.

The aggressor may think later of her actions of ignorance.

The aggressor may wonder-"what was that light shining about them?"

I wanted to share this to speak to many Lady Leader's -I say to you having the knowledge and applying Godly wisdom is much more important that what our flesh considers winning! Many lives have been lost in an attempt to prove a point. You are who the Lord says you are and that's what matters! I want you to know you have a divine demographic you are a Kingdom Resident! A Royal Priesthood!

Have you or someone you know looked at a difficulty as a complete disaster? What about having what you believe is a perfect plan; only to view it to appear to completely perish right before your very eyes?

If you answered yes to one or all of the above stated situations; you are in the majority of a global population. This does not mean you have a negative outlook on life, what it does mean is that you’ve lived long enough to have experienced some peaks and some valleys.

As a Lady Leader, I wish to speak to the valleys in your life, so that when you reach a peak, you will rejoice in the moment, and not miss it concentrating on the valleys. I also wish to whisper in your ear the value of the valleys, so that while you are having a valley experience you will treasure the wisdom and lessons learned during that season.

It never ceases to amaze me at the level of tactics and strategies the enemy uses as attempts to cause each of us to turn our back on God. I am also astonished as I view the extreme measures which are used to challenge our faith in the Word of our Lord and Savior.

Initially I was unable to comprehend the “count it all joy” scripture reference. This journey encompassed smooth sailing as well as potholes and bumps in the road. This concept helped me to comprehend the “peace that surpasseth all understanding” scripture. I’d heard these scriptures spoken so freely and frequently with such assurance. The lessons learned and the application of these scriptures came through the peaks and valleys in my life.

Let’s compare the advantage to the adversity to the assurance of insurance. In an effort to strengthen our faith, there MUST be a faith challenge. I must bear the pain of adversity so that I may enjoy the advantage of peace.

As responsible adults we purchase insurance so that when calamities or adversities arise we have the assurance that “we’re in good hands”.

Here are a couple of scenarios of how an adversity can prove to be a great advantage:

*You are privy to a conversation where you are the topic of discussion- yet you’re being spoken about in a derogatory manner, and it goes to the core of your inner man. Unfortunately what the “commentators” are saying is true.

At this point you have a choice to make, will you take what they said, sulk, become angry and do nothing about it? Or do you make this a prime opportunity to make some much needed life adjustments and become who the Lord says you are?

*Your family is supportive as long as “you’ve got it going on”, but the moment you need a favor or assistance-they won’t answer the phone, text or e-mail. This behavior causes you to become angry and withdrawn, because this is not the first time this has happened. You now feel used and taken for granted.

This is one of the greatest opportunities to increase your vocabulary to include the word “no”, as well as begin to realize the actual intent of the relationship. Many relationships are not balanced and once the scales tip, the revelation of the worth of the relationship becomes apparent and evident. These type of situations are revelations, learn from them and encourage yourself!

Your faith is tested, when everything and everyone who may have been the external source of stability is now different, including yourself. This passage of scripture speaks to us first in a manner which reminds us; adversities shall come! (My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations) James 1:2

The desire of The Lady Is A Leader this month is to remind you, that your assurance in the Word of God and His promise in your life is the insurance that every adversity you encounter shall prove to be an advantage which shall empower and enrich your journey.

So often we are bombarded with invitations and celebrations, which culminate the accomplishments of students which have completed one level of education and are preparing for the next dimension of their lives.

This made me think about what Paul was stating when he spoke so eloquently in his writing to the church at Corinth.

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things 1 Corinthians 13:11

This statement brought back so many memories, and seasons in life. The basic thought of this statement is that Paul graduated! Paul matriculated or matured as a student of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and began to share some of his past experiences.

As a child or an immature vessel, there are some statements, and actions which are familiar to childhood. A child pouts when he or she can have things “their” way. As a graduate surely you have learned that changing your facial expressions do not cause a change to come into fruition.

Paul also pulled off the mask and placed on the graduation cap or mortar board and explained to the Corinthian church, that his conversation resembled that of a child or person of immaturity. The weight of his vocabulary was of such that it may not have been delivered in the most beneficial manner.

Lastly he placed all his cards on the table, by allowing the church of Corinth to be aware that his thoughts, views and even possibly his aspirations were so limited; because he had a child-like outlook on his surroundings and possibly felt, his potential was reach, while yet in its infantile state.

What an amazing time when a student walks across the stage and receives a piece of paper, which displays to all, that you did not give up, that you hung in there. It is amazing that a piece of paper, which originated from a tree, which was born of a seed, could carry such weight and prestige.

What I love about this passage is you also have an opportunity to present ” A Brand New Kinda Me”. Paul says, but; or I know how I used to be, and I know what I used to say, I even shared with you how I used to think. But when I became a man, when I matured, when I grew up, when I came to myself, when I graduated; I put away childish things!

My desire for each of you is to graduate, move distinctly from a level of immaturity to a level of maturity. Proceed with wisdom and advance into an atmosphere of growing, caring and loving as Christ has loved us. Though there are corporate graduation ceremonies, each student must achieve and succeed individually. I ask you not to compare your date of graduation with someone else’s date. I also wish for your graduation to be a process which allows you to gain some valuable tools which are essential for your life.

The definition of consciousness is to be awake AND aware; to be awake AND understand what is going on around you. (Merriam-Webster Dictionary.Com)

Moreso than not, I believe we find ourselves moving in a state of sub-consciousness. We become immune to the taunts, we learn to shake off the sneers, and we become less apt to speak on issues or causes which are dear to our hearts. We have increased our level of tolerance so that we don't offend those who don't agree with what we believe. Unfortunately these type of actions cause us to slip ever so slowly into a state of sub-consciousness, which if not addressed immediately we each may become unconscious.

By now, I am sure you have realized, you are peculiar, you think outside of the box, and you don't fit in with the cliques. I also trust you understand how valuable it is to be unique. Yet I must impress upon your heart to become more "conscious". The Apostle Paul addressed the church at Thessalonica reminding them, that at one time they were vibrant, on fire and excited about their assignment, they were once filled with the vigor and vitality I spoke of initially. Yet now, their consciousness with dwindling, Paul expressed to them not to fall asleep, or in other words don't lose consciousness as others have.

I am sure we've met others along this journey who were on fire in their walk with the Lord, their family was thriving, and their career appeared to be moving forth in the fast lane. Yet, now you no longer see the spark of excitement in their eyes. The brilliant smile is no longer present, even the morale of those around them has hit an all- time low...What happened you may ask?

Let's look at a couple of aspects of consciousness:

Awake and Aware: This gives us the ability to watch, see with a spiritual eye, discern what is positioned for our lives and dismiss or remove that which is not. Being awake and aware is two- fold, it places us in a state of consciousness as well as being alert and sensitive to who or what enters our atmosphere.

Awake and Understand: This aspect of consciousness, places each of us in a position to open our spiritual awareness. This level of consciousness is to the point we are "sober-minded", cautious in decisions, and understand with diligence the importance of repentance and walking upright in the Word of God.

As we are completing the first quarter of the year. I impress upon you to celebrate your uniqueness, our theme scripture says "let us not sleep as others do". You were not meant to be a carbon copy of someone else. You are alive, awake and conscious! You find joy in what causes others to slumber. You become alive in a task others may feel is overbearing. You are awake, and every fiber of your being is crying out, I no longer have on grave clothes! Every bit of your heart is singing, I am Free, Praise the Lord I'm Free!

I have attempted on several occasions to express the magnitude of the outpouring of the presence of His Spirit during Women of Power 2014. As a student of etymology, I truly wanted to study the word, which described in fullness, what was experienced. I wanted to research its origin and intensely follow the word through centuries of transcribers and <a style="background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% transparent ! important; border: medium none ! important; display: inline ! important; float: none ! important; height: auto ! important; margin: 0px ! important; min-height: 0px ! important; min-width: 0px ! important; padding: 0px ! important; vertical-align: baseline ! important; width: auto ! important; text-decoration: underline ! important;" title="Click to Continue > by Bee Coupons" id="_GPLITA_6" href="http://pastorbj.wordpress.com/#" name="_GPLITA_6">apply the word to this present state in my life. The problem I encountered….THERE WAS NO WORD!

The theme <a style="background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% transparent ! important; border: medium none ! important; display: inline ! important; float: none ! important; height: auto ! important; margin: 0px ! important; min-height: 0px ! important; min-width: 0px ! important; padding: 0px ! important; vertical-align: baseline ! important; width: auto ! important; text-decoration: underline ! important;" title="Click to Continue > by Bee Coupons" id="_GPLITA_7" href="http://pastorbj.wordpress.com/#" name="_GPLITA_7">Windows of Worship was a “and we know in part” proclamation! When the Lord pronounced the anointing of worship upon the women’s weekend, I as a worshipper was overjoyed, because I knew the Lord would not allow His daughters to experience “some” of Him, should we open our windows. But, He was going to pour unto and into us everything we need in order to experience a no more need, lack or absence of in our lives.

As I looked around the room, I was allowed to witness a glimpse…of what it means to bring ye all the tithes into the <a style="background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% transparent ! important; border: medium none ! important; display: inline ! important; float: none ! important; height: auto ! important; margin: 0px ! important; min-height: 0px ! important; min-width: 0px ! important; padding: 0px ! important; vertical-align: baseline ! important; width: auto ! important; text-decoration: underline ! important;" title="Click to Continue > by Bee Coupons" id="_GPLITA_10" href="http://pastorbj.wordpress.com/#" name="_GPLITA_10">store house, so that there may be meat in My house, every person brought their best; the first fruit of their lips, the first fruit of their worship, the first fruit of their gifts of administration, the first fruits of their gifts of song, ministering through the instruments, ministering through the gift of hospitality and there was meat in HIS house, the overflow of HIS presence allowed each of us to dine and to dine in abundance.

As the scripture continues the Lord of Hosts made a statement and it was so obvious this statement was one of the most defining moments throughout the weekend, the Lord said…”Prove Me”…..and there were women and men during the weekend which had experience so much in their lives, present, and past that a “prove me” moment was just what the doctor ordered! With uplifted hands, with tears streaming, with bowed heads, and receptive hearts it was amazing as the Lord proved Himself over and over to each of us over and over to each of us who were present.

Amazingly, we were positioned to move into an atmosphere of no more need or lack, even before we left the venue. The Lord proved Himself, and we are forever thankful. The Word of God said He would open the <a style="background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% transparent ! important; border: medium none ! important; display: inline ! important; float: none ! important; height: auto ! important; margin: 0px ! important; min-height: 0px ! important; min-width: 0px ! important; padding: 0px ! important; vertical-align: baseline ! important; width: auto ! important; text-decoration: underline ! important;" title="Click to Continue > by Bee Coupons" id="_GPLITA_8" href="http://pastorbj.wordpress.com/#" name="_GPLITA_8">windows (plural) of heaven and pour us out a blessing (singular) where there would be no more need (Malachi 3:10 ESV)

Many of the Lady Leaders in attendance poured out of their need, they gave of themselves, just as many of you in your respective locations. You’ve given, you’ve sown, you’ve planted, and you have been awaiting your <a style="background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% transparent ! important; border: medium none ! important; display: inline ! important; float: none ! important; height: auto ! important; margin: 0px ! important; min-height: 0px ! important; min-width: 0px ! important; padding: 0px ! important; vertical-align: baseline ! important; width: auto ! important; text-decoration: underline ! important;" title="Click to Continue > by Bee Coupons" id="_GPLITA_9" href="http://pastorbj.wordpress.com/#" name="_GPLITA_9">windows to open.
The Lady Is A Leader Monthly Blog is celebrating 3 years of consistent entries to provoke you into your special position of honor, respect ,grace and power. Since February 2011, The LIAD Blog has grown tremendously, now reaching over 5,000 monthly, listed on Amazon and available on numerous mobile devices. I want to personally thank you, your support and sharing has caused a tremendous impact, and again, I along with Lady LaKesia Scott, -Editorial Proof Editor thank you and I also thank Evangelist Denise Jackson, who began as our Editorial Proof Editor and served for over 2 years

I love The month of February is filled with expressions of love, and celebrating the history of so many whom have paved the way for so many of us; it is a month of relational awareness. What I have noticed is that expressing and developing leadership skills in relationships can be quite interesting. Numerous manuals are written on workplace interaction, and the challenges faced. There are handbooks which detail the manner in which we are to relate to others in social settings. Etiquette taught in primary years are skills which we instill in our children, our grands, and to those whom we have an influence. These skills are welcomed on our journey from childhood to adulthood. We lead by example, we unfold our napkin and place it in our lap, we speak in tones which are acceptable in an enclosed environment and slightly raise our voice when we find ourselves out in the midst of this beautiful landscape we call earth. Yet, with all of the above critiqued activity, why are we not as careful with the arena of respect we allow in our relationships? As a Lady Leader, we must be mindful, that we "teach others how to treat us". We earn respect by the manner in which we acknowledge, accept or deny "treatment".

This is the season to embrace the element of "respect". Gracing ourselves with an aura of respect is an accessory which we each should wear with honor. Just as we are diligent in the lessons in our social networks, and our work place relationships, we should also maintain an atmosphere of respect in our personal relationships. Once we have handed over the keys to our lives to others it is most difficult to retrieve and re-gain the position of ownership. We are commissioned to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Ahhhh, we must learn how to love ourselves. Let's practice stating this very small word - No....say it again...No. The word no is an adverb, it describes...No, at time I am unable to comply. No, I am unavailable at this time. No, because I love you...I just can't. Did you know the word "no" is one of the most difficult words to state in relationships? Unfortunately society has caused us to align the word no with; not being concerned; or not demonstrating love. When given the statement of "No", a toddler may pout, an adolescent may scowl, also an adult may become silent or withdrawn. We should never allow our integrity to be intimated by the emotions of others which may attempt to diminish our royalty or our premier presence. Stating no, may be the most valuable word you may speak. No places the responsibility on the other party in the relationship; it causes them to make decisions, no causes the other person in the relationship to hopefully view your stance and respect your actions. Reminder: WE TEACH OTHERS HOW TO TREAT US: Always enter a relationship or environment with a presence which commands with grace, character, integrity and your honor. It is with those qualities that relationships flourish and grow. The scriptures are impartial to our relational situations, because as we all know circumstances and situations change. However what does not change is our command to love the Lord with all our heart, mind and soul; and the second is to love our neighbors as ourselves. Isn't it amazing that we are instructed to love the Lord before we are given the instruction to love our neighbors? Our vertical relationship musts be in tact, before we can attempt to bring others into the arena. Once I love the Lord with all...He will teach me how to love myself, honor my life, my commitments, my decisions, then and only then can I present pure love my neighbor for I am now whole!

So celebrate this milestone as a Lady Leader, you my dear have earned the respect and you can and shall walk therefore with power.... Walk In Power, Dr. BJ Relefourd

I just packed away the Christmas decorations and placed away the holiday trimmings. Wasn’t it only yesterday I was singing, “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas”? I knew I was home free, when the last holiday box was stored securely in the attic, the evergreen was sent to be recycled, and the last strings of lights were tightly packed away. I thought I had made it safely to home base, when all the holiday cookbooks were placed back in their rightful place of honor. I was prepared to wave the victory flag, because there was no visible sign of Yuletide greetings to be found, not in my environment. This beginning mark in a calendar year began to remind me of the emotional endurance, which is much-needed to begin to plan all over again! I began to wonder am I prepared to put away once again the ornament which has such an intense emotional attachment that tears flow each time it is unwrapped from its precious tissue paper. Am I really ready to begin another year?

Do I actually have a choice in the matter? Am I enjoying or only enduring? I began to wonder, was I emotionally allowing myself the correct preparation strategy to endure, or enjoy doing what I considered ” a way of life”. My first assignment was to locate the definition of endurance. (n)The fact or power of experiencing an unpleasant or difficult process or situation without giving way. Merriam-Webster Upon reading the definition, I felt relieved to understand that to endure, means the gravity of the process or situation is one which may or may not be favorable, yet with “power” I shall not give way. I was excited and was preparing to determine the “correct preparation strategy”, because endurance had to mean there was something I needed to execute. I cannot give away the enjoyment I gain from sowing into others, I also cannot give my thoughts away to the fear of being “used” once again…I will not just endure the coming months, I shall enjoy each day with every fiber of my being.

After re-reading the definition a second time, for clarity I noticed that endurance is a noun. Endurance is not what we do, it’s who we are! It’s in the fabric of our lives, its in the core of our being, and we are created to survive! Packed with that knowledge, I made a conscious decision to enjoy this year and not just endure the 12 months which are prayerfully set before me. I began to reminisce of those who are no longer with us on this side of eternity…did they take the time to enjoy or only endure the hours of each day, each hour or each minute placed before us. “I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me” Philippians 4:13 Going forth, I have determined that my intent is to emotionally prepare my spirit, mind and soul for the “true” meaning enjoying life.

By doing so, I will alleviate the thought that I am “enduring” or tolerating. I am now embracing, and celebrating! I am aware it’s a process, and since we’re at the beginning of a brand new year, as Lady Leaders let’s believe that through Christ we can enjoy and not just endure 2014!

We are nearing the 365th day of the year, and preparing to enter into day 1 of the year, 2014-should the Lord say so.

The year 2013 has been filled with various tests, challenges, blessings and lessons which if we have been attentive-lessons which should catapult each of us into a realm of purpose and praise! Praising God for what we have left, and honoring the Lord in allowing us to be yet fervent in our walk, and still among the living.

As the holiday seasons are yet present, and the Christmas carols are ringing in our ears;; I beseech each of you to resist the temptation of opening one present. The present of procrastination, for this gift is the gift that keeps on giving. By opening this present and allowing it to be displayed in your heart, mind and soul; this causes a hindrance in your gift to others, which may become an obstruction to an opportunity that may be your divine assignment.

If you have a burden for a particular area, yet you knowingly or unknowingly tore open the present of procrastination, you may look at the end of this year with astonishment, and while you may never publicly give it voice; within your inner man the conversation with yourself exclaims…”My intent was to begin in Jan… Feb… March”. We are now in the month of December, the months have unraveled and the present of procrastination has manifested yet again.

Procrastination causes your witness to become dishonorable; no one believes you. They know you mean well, and they love your zeal and excitement for life, but they also know your execution wavers and is dependent upon your present state.

Procrastination also injects stress where calm should reside. Sweating over a 6 month assignment in the 5 month and the 29th day, may cause a rise in blood pressure, a lack of excellence in presentation as well as a hurried display.

Some may say they work better under pressure? Do you or have you operated so often in chaos, it has become your normal?

Discard chaos and clutter; tidy your area and create an atmosphere for productivity “Let all things be done decently and in order…” 1 Corinthians 14:40

Implement using a calendar; choose on-line, virtual calendar to execute deadlines/dates,etc.
“Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed…” Prov 15:22

Pray diligently for wisdom to correct past non beneficial practices
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, lean not unto thy own understanding and He shall direct your paths…” Prov 3:5,6

The first few chapters of the book of Genesis displays literally and figuratively a divine plan of creation, execution and rest. In the beginning God, created the heavens and the earth. (Creation) Over a period of time, God developed everything which was needed in the heavens and the earth, including you and I. (Execution). Lastly God instilled a period of rest, which is an example to each of us that rest is instrumental in our lives; for effective productivity. (Restoration)

I pray as Lady Leaders we take into consideration the price of procrastination, and don’t accept it as a “present” in our lives. As we prepare to move forth into 2014, revisit a slide show of actions of 2013, make a decision, a proclamation, a declaration. Procrastination doesn’t live here anymore! I’m a Lady Leader and I shall walk in power!

As a Lady Leader I recognize the need to address issues with sincerity and wisdom; however we must also protect and nurture our heart and the spirit within ourselves.

As we are nearing the end of the year 2013, I am sure there are many of us whom have experienced some major transitions during this season. Some of us have experienced death in our inner circle; whether it was a death of a loved one, the demise of a business, the transition of a relationship or even coming to a realization of what we thought was….really wasn’t. There are voids which are implanted in our inner man when a separation occurs, and this feel like a death of sorts.

You may ask, how could I possibly find humor in any of the above mentioned circumstances. I may not have found humor in it; but I learned to exercise humor to come out of it.

1 Samuel 30: 6 “But David encouraged himself in the Lord his God….”

Listed below are a few of the tools, which I used to honor who I am in God, even during the stages of bereavement.

Forsake even the appearance of evil...1 Thess. 5:22 My going out in public without checking my appearance is pure evil! (smile) I encouraged myself and laughed in the face of the enemy because, I KNOW I don’t or won’t look like what I’ve been through or going through!

For her price is far above rubies….Proverbs 31:10
I am made in the image of God, and that means “I’m Good”! My motivation to move forward was in the realization their leaving me was their loss, not mine. I value who I am in Christ, I became so tickled in the produce section of the grocery store one day, when I looked at the scales and noted, I outweigh in value with Christ what man, society, or demographics could ever imagine…”I’m Good”!!!

Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then they said among the nations,
“The Lord has done great things for them.” Psalms 126:2
The inspiration to move beyond the present pain, and to climb above the innate need to seclude myself and bury my wounds within a cave of isolation-came from making a joyful noise unto the Lord. Now the noise may not have been joyful to others, and it may not have been joyful to my neighbors or my praise team members. I knew the Lord had done great things for me, so I had to remember to revisit, and reclaim my laughter!

Solomon shared with us the proper medication for our lives- a joyful heart. When your heart has been crushed, trampled upon and torn, it takes several doses of medication to mend. I’ve learned when prescribed an anti-biotic even though I may “think” I’m better; the required dosage is the entire prescription. I say that to say, continue to smile, practice it, start with just a little curve of the mouth, continue with a small giggle, and I am a witness, as you progress in your healing process a hearty laugh WILL come upon and within you.

Solomon continues to explain to each of us what will happen if we don’t take the proper dosage-A crushed spirit drieth up bones. I know I’ve been in a position where I have cried out…”Can these dry bones live again?”…Lord I acknowledge, I am crushed, will I ever smile again, will I ever laugh again, will a chuckle ever return to me?

I can say with a resounding yes…did it take time? Yes! However I learned and I continue to learn in various situations that nothing is too hard for God and there is no hurt, or wound He cannot heal.

One of the most interesting definitions I found for the word humor was; a state of mind- mental disposition or temperament. With that being said, I have made a decision to place in my spiritual medicine cabinet an unending supply of humor, because I never know when I may need another dose to help me along the way.

I am totally convinced of the scenario of which the sons of God came to present themselves unto the Lord, and satan decided to attend the meeting as well. (Job 2) I am also fully committed to the fact when God delivers a proclamation for “the house”; the leadership in “the house” faces the initial ripple effect of such declaration; as the oil flows from the beard to the skirts. (Psalms 133:2)

NO LIMITS TO MY VISION AND DREAMS IN 2013!…

I am totally convinced of the scenario of which the sons of God came to present themselves unto the Lord, and satan decided to attend the meeting as well. (Job 2) I am also fully committed to the fact when God delivers a proclamation for “the house”; the leadership in “the house” faces the initial ripple effect of such declaration; as the oil flows from the beard to the skirts. (Psalms 133:2)

NO LIMITS TO MY VISION AND DREAMS IN 2013!

How totally amazing to know that we would experience a season of limitless dreams and vision-aah! A time of celebration or a season of revelation? An hour of jubilation or a period of awakening?

The original Roman calendar consisted of 10 months, with October being the 8th month. The number (8) in the bible denotes resurrection! Regeneration! And I might add, Revived! October is also associated with autumn, which we recognize as the month of “harvest”. I am a witness that by the time you get to October, a harvest is definitely in order and a desire and/or need to be revived are ever present.

Living the “No Limits To My Vision And Dreams in 2013″ declaration also brought with it, the no limits to what extent the enemy will go to attempt to kill each vision and steal each dream. I am speaking of direct attacks which we are fully aware are not natural but spiritual warfare in the highest degree!

However I am encouraged; having spent most of the latter spring and summer recuperating from cardiac arrest, which is different from a heart attack: Heart attack is the death of heart muscle due to a blocked coronary artery, while cardiac arrest is a heart arrhythmia that causes the heart to stop beating. (heartdisease.about.com)

Yes, I am inspired ; I had the opportunity to witness a team of men and women, who came together and carried the torch of the vision with the anointing and heart of love and commitment. (vision-of-life.org)

I am reassured; I was allowed to witness the life and legacy of one of the matriarchs of my family; who lived beyond the promise of three score and ten. This gave me a glimpse of Lady Leadership in its greatest form of faith and fortitude.

Lastly, I Am Revived! The Women of Power 3rd Annual Tele-Revival was a gift, packaged, and delivered directly, purposely and deliberately just for me. I know, so many have said those exact words, and I can agree, because when I left the Tele-Revival…I felt BRAND NEW…a harvest of peace which passed all understanding was ever present. Each messenger through Word, Song, or Testimonial was anointed and adorned for His anointing.

I was given liberty to WALK IN MY ANOINTING, walking with and in His power…I had the opportunity to listen to testimonials which were declarations of LIFE, LIVING and REJUVENATION! As the ministering of the Word flowed, I along with many others were positioned to re-evaluate our lives, and what may really be causing some of the health, financial, and spiritual issues we endure, and to reiterate God POSITIONED AND PREPARED us for Matters of the Heart. By now, I am feeling the winds of faith and the glory of His might within and upon me. God is a God of “more than enough”; at this point I knew I could actually place on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness…Why…because IT’S MY SIZE! I realize and recognize, I don’t have to mutilate nor amputate my experience to “appear” as though nothing happened, as though I didn’t experience a tsunami. I don’t have to sever my emotions and become so hardened that I don’t shed a tear. Or reach out for assistance.

.I am a Lady Leader, and I can say with declaration….I‘M REVIVED AND I CAN SEE MY WAY OUT!

I have received several requests for comments and statements regarding the recent criminal trial and verdict. A Florida newspaper contacted me for a response-however I knew my response could not be emotionally generated. Therefore I waited until I could release a statement which I believe to be factual as well as informational.

As a Lady Leader, I am disappointed! As a mother, I am hurt! As a American, I am wounded! Yet as a Believer I still have hope!

My disappointment lies in the fact that a young man could be murdered in the year 2013 and no one is held accountable. My heart hurts for the parents, and family of a young man who will never have the opportunity to witness his accomplishments as an adult. The wounds which are embedded in my soul is within a justice system, which has in place laws and regulations which allow a human life to be viewed as valueless. The hope I have is within the Word of God which gives me an example or a fore-picture of one who "against ALL hope..believed in hope."

Abram was given a covenant by God; however along the way he allowed his wife to take matters into her own hands, which had it not been for the covenant could have changed the entire outcome of history. It would be 13 or more years at the age of 99 that the entrance into the covenant would be made visible; at this point Abram's name was changed to Abraham "father of many nations".

As the passion has arisen yet again for what I believe to be an outcry in this nation. We must and cannot give up hope, in what appears to be a hopeless situation.

Romans 4:18

[For Abraham, human reason for] hope being gone, hoped in faith that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been promised, So [numberless] shall your descendants be. (AMP)

My concern is in the realization that "numberless shall the descendants be". What can we who have been blessed with an opportunity to have a platform, whether it is local, national or international do to make a difference? How can we make an impact or a substantial difference in the lives of the "numberless descendants"?

PRAYER Pray without ceasing for our communities; as well as our community and national leaders

VOTE This is a privilege we must not take for granted; make your voice heard

JURY DUTY When summoned for jury duty count it an honor to serve in the justice system in our country

MENTOR Volunteer to mentor and be present in the life of a young person; these are the numberless descendants

EDUCATION Learn the laws of your state, county and city; become informed of the platforms presented These are a few ways to become vocal and involved. We must become presents for the numberless descendants, so we don't continue to have parents bury their children.
I have prayed and shall continue to pray for both families; while some may disagree - both have lost a son. George Zimmerman's life will never be the same. The relationship whatever it may have been with his parents has forever changed. The lives of Trayvon Martin's parents will never be the same. Their lives are forever changed, for they will always be recognized as the parents whose son was murdered in Sanford, FL.

As a Lady Leader my quest today and shall continue to be-positioned to serve by being available, accessible and attainable. Am I disappointed? Of course I am; however I am not hopeless, "for against ALL hope...I STILL believe in hope!"

August 1, 2013

I was recently blessed on July 4th to celebrate thirty-three years of marriage; yes to the same man. (GIGGLE) This man was not only my prom date, my high school sweet-heart; he’s also the father of our two wonderful children.

While reminiscing we began to share with each other the numerous celebrations as well as challenges we have experienced throughout the years. As each year passes we are always bombarded with the staple question; how did you do it? Our experience and recipe for our marriage may not be the same for you, as each of our journeys are different however here’s a peek into thirty-three years of the Married Lady Leader.

Some of you may have been saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Spirit upon marriage; we were not. However I do believe the Lord placed us as gifts to each other. I was reared as an only child. My husband has always been a provider, he shared with me the skills of balance. I had to learn we couldn’t go out to dinner EVERY night! So he taught me how to cook. I had to learn the proper way to launder clothing, so we all didn’t have to wear psychedelic attire to every event. I brought to the table organization and maintaining a very beautiful and immaculate environment. Thus began our growing into the Mr. and Mrs. after walking the aisle as bride and groom.

Our initial years were learning to walk in the word as wedded individuals who became one. From the club to covenant was an interesting time in our lives to say the least. I am forever grateful for the guidance of the Father and the patience we had with each other. I recall our Pastor anointed our marriage and stated my husband was anointed with “faith” and I was anointed with “prayer”. I have noted over the years this anointing has been ever present in our lives.

I wish I could say that after giving our lives to the Lord we never went to bed mad again; I cannot. We had to learn how to disagree, yet remain in a state of wholeness. The tools we learned while walking with the Lord are priceless. We loved each other, yet the love we experienced as a Christian couple was one which included, praying together, fasting together, having conversations which were “real”…not just the “how was your day”, but the conversations which caused us to lay before the Lord and cast our cares, our fears and our ignorance before Him for guidance.

We wrote a book entitled Marriage, Palace or Prison this book shares the journey of rearing our children, learning financial responsibilities. Recognizing the aging process, and growing gracefully in our diverse states of maturity.

There are numerous married couples who have maintained their marriage for over 30 years; however in my experience there is a vast minority which are willing to be transparent, so that others may grow and glean from the journey.

There were many celebrations along the way, graduations, births and there were also deaths, and there was sickness. There was “better” and there has been “worse”. There has been “richer” and believe me there has been “poorer”.

The continuing force has been the “til death do us part”. Truth is…I am sure that somewhere along the 33 years, one of us at one time or another have considered taking the “til death do us part” into our own hands…lol, if I can be real!

Yet through it all, the commitment, the friendship, the relationship has and continues to be submitted to God. Through Him and only Him, has the consistency of faith grown and developed. Yes, the Lady is a Leader and She’s Married!

Many have asked how did The Lady Is A Leader evolve, and where did she come from? The second part of the question regarding the Lady Leader movement many women ask is "how do I get there"?

The Lady is a Leader movement was born out of a book, I wrote nearly a decade ago. The Lady Is A Leader was written to express to women from all facets of life, The Lady Is A Leader was written to express to women from all facets of life, and give them opportunity celebrate their very being.

I began to encounter along my journey women who envied, and idolized what they thought was the perfect appearance of leadership. Little did these women neither realize nor recognize they themselves were and are some of the greatest leaders on this planet!

Women from the pillow to the pew and from the pew to the pulpit each experience similarities which left covered and smothered would appear extremely diverse. Each of these women wanted to be positioned to be loved, accepted and celebrated.

The Lady Leaders I began to meet would share the experiences of motherhood, I would see their eyes light up, when they spoke of their offspring-yet they would complete their statement with, "I'm only a mom". These women could schedule pre-school, soccer, basket-ball practice, choir rehearsal, and facilitate a corporate meeting while stirring dinner in the crock pot and removing baked bread from the oven...yet she ends her statement with "I'm only a mom".

These phenomenal women which I would look upon with awe, could walk into a setting dripping in grief and despair, sadness and the scent of tiredness floating throughout the air, and could motivate, excite, engage and empower women to rise up and walk in their God given gifts! These women would ignite a spark in the lives of others to provoke them to further their education, grow in their spiritual walk, cultivate positive relationships and divorce toxic forces in their lives, yet they would complete a statement with..."I'm only a this, or I'm only a that".

I became so enraged at the fact that society has categorized leadership as being associated with a title, a degree, economic or social background. The stereotype of being a leader should not be associated with the label of your clothing or the handbag on your shoulder.

I saw leadership in so many facets, and I saw it in various people, some looked like me, and some didn't. Some sounded like me, and some didn't. There were even those whose dialect resembled mine, and yet there were many that didn't. I witnessed leadership in kitchens, and I viewed leadership in offices. I glanced at leadership riding buses, and I also had the opportunity to observe leadership driving automobiles. I even saw leadership displayed in pulpits, as well as embraced in pews.

I began to pray, and ask God how I could make a difference. What impact could I make as a black female from the South, born in the 60's with numerous strikes against me? I will never forget the day, "The Lady Is A Leader" was born, the labor was excruciating, but when the stream burst...I knew at that very moment...I was born to do this!

You see I HAD to witness the pain in the eyes of others, as well as in the mirror of my life. I HAD to feel the loneliness associated with leadership, and having my life exposed in the stirrups of life...unmasked for everyone to see!

Therefore when I began to write the Lady Is A Leader, I could pen it with passion and with pain. I would know what it feels like to PUSH- Pray Until Something Happens! I could empathize with women who carried and with those who miscarried.

How do you become a Lady Leader? I believe you already are, in some form or fashion you have influence, my desire is that you never become so engulfed with the value in someone else that you diminish the God given value within yourself. Celebrate the glory placed ever so carefully within you, and begin your story. Your journey is so unique and ever so precious, as well as priceless. Yes you are a Lady Leader, and you were born to do this!

I know there are many of you who are reading this have your very own experiences, your very own story, your novel which only you can write in its entirety. But this one thing I do know, God gave me The Lady Is A Leader Movement to walk with Women of Power all across the globe. And at all costs...I Am A Lady Leader and I Was Born TO DO THIS!

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has delivered from the hand of the adversary

Psalms 107:2

The ultimate price of life was a reward paid in full for you and I. The Lord gave His life as compensation for our past, present and future behavior. You and I were given a “do-over” by our Redeemer, who knew in advance the state of our hearts, and the manner of our past, present and future decisions.

With knowledge of such an unconditional act of love, why we do not tell our story? When asked to testify of HIS goodness-silence captivates the room. When we are given that moment of an opportunity to witness His Word and how we were redeemed by His blood, often we discuss the current events of others; rather than sharing the evidence that has transformed our life.

The scripture reference being addressed is one which that should provoke action on our part and thanksgiving for His part!

Often we do not share for various reasons-

You may think that you ‘ve shared so much; folk may tire of hearing your story.

You may think that your testimony may sound like “boasting”.

You may think that nobody would possibly believe your testimony

Falling into either of the above categories make you a prime candidate as a spokesperson of one who lives a life of being redeemed! You are the one whose story shall ring in the ears of others, there is a womb waiting to hear your testimony so that a still birth will not take place., the fear of thinking that no one else has ever come out of a situation may cause someone not to “push” forth! You have been redeemed, say so!

You are the one who the Lord reached out from humanity, stepped into deity, cradled you in His hand and snatched you from the adversary, delivered you from low self-esteem, and abandonment. You are the person who is completely liberated from addictions, and infliction. Each day you continue to transform into the person who now has Holy boldness, the redeemed one who now must say so; must tell the story, must share the journey.

I ask that you never stifle what the Lord has done for you. I am a witness He will give you the right environment, and the proper place to present HIM. When given the divine opportunity, say so…remember YOU ARE REDEEMED.

Walk In Power,

The Lady Is A Leader normally posts a monthly blog; yet I am compelled to share an other side experience, which I pray will be a blessing to the readership.

Then the master said to the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges and urge and constrain [them] to yield and come in, so that my house may be filled.

Luke 14:23 (AMP)

This particular chapter in God’s Holy Word demonstrates how the “Master” healed on the Sabbath-Something Unheard Of! A dinner was prepared and the “familiar” people were not to be invited-Who does that? Lastly, a great dinner was prepared and everyone had an excuse as to why they couldn’t RSVP! Have you ever felt like you were on the other side and everyone else is still where you left them?

As a child of the 60′s I have had the opportunity to view numerous changes in society, and technology. I was the one who thought everything could be accomplished with a Brothers typewriter and a Texas Instrument calculator.

I can recall when my parents who were in their 50′s when I arrived, stated to me their parents called television “the one-eyed devil”. I am fully familiar with placing a coin on the arm of the turn-table so that a scratched record or LP (Long-Playing Album) would play properly. Why was I not upset that an 8-track made the most harsh sound between one recording to the next track….why because this was a part of the experience of the moment.

We now are in the age of social media, IPAD, Tablets, Kindle, and numerous forms of technology which allow us to go into the highways -the internet is the information highway, and into the hedges -areas which we may have never had the opportunity to conquer due to various life restraints.

It’s so good to KNOW your assignment, and to be confident in the manner God has given you. The Word of God states the servant was asked to:

Go- Take action; your go may be within your family, but go! your go may be within the walls of your ministry, but go! Your go may be television, radio, social media….whatever form you’ve been given to transport His Word ….GO!

Into The Highways and Hedges-There is a fertile ground for the Word God has given you; your anointing must travel, don’t allow it to remain dormant because your gift is diverse. There are those along the highway and those who may be buried within the hedges who have a NEED for what God has given you!

Compel-Urge-Constrain Them To Come- Social networking can be used as one of the greatest forms of evangelism. The key is to remain consistent, remain in a position of compelling them to come to Christ. Develop a spirit on Social Media so that when you post, and or present a statement it causing a yielding of the spirits of the recipients!

So that my house may be filled- There is a reason, why you do what you do. The purpose is to bring such as should be saved into the kingdom.

However, we must be cautious and careful that we don’t discourage someone else who may be reaching a group of people; or even one person you are not assigned to serve. I believe the founder of Facebook, Twitter and various forms of social media may not have realized the impact and the magnitude the conversation of Jesus Christ being spread across the universe would bring about conversions, deliverance and vast socialization of Christianity.

We must be very mindful that we not condemn or speak harshly of others whom have found a positive forum to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The ultimate goal is to lead others to Christ. While this may not be your chosen method of delivery it does not mean it is not a productive form of delivery. Likewise those who use social media and the like to communicate must not discourage and speak badly of those who don’t. There are numerous manners to evangelize, allow the Lord to speak to your heart as to what is your assignment and how you are to obtain good success therein.

Most forms of technology have the ability to allow Bible, Concordance and Study Applications to assist each of us in carrying forth the gospel of Jesus Christ…so please remember when compelling those to come…Jesus first stated, ” … Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. (Matthew 4:19) before Twitter was established. Also before Facebook was founded, the character of friendship was established. “A man that hath friends must show himself friendly.” (Prov. 18:24)

The decision is truly yours; however I would ask you to search yourself and become a Lady Leader, and come on over to….

I am an early riser, I love the fragrance of quiet prayer and morning meditation. It is not uncommon for my day to begin at 3 or 4 am; some have teased that I have completed by nine o’clock in the morning what is completed in a normal 9 to 5 work day.

This particular morning as I was preparing my morning tea, my mind flashed to a sister-very instrumental in provoking the literary skills of a great number of authors. A vastly gifted and talented young lady fluent in not only her native tongue but German and Japanese as well.

One of her favorite statements to quote- “What we do now, will echo in eternity“

It is always to astounding to me that the season God has ordained for particular relationships allows them to be present and aligned with His perfect plan. Once that assignment is completed; though residents of the same region, town or community your paths may never physically cross again.

This was a morning that I was feeling so thankful and grateful that the Lord placed this wonderful journalist in my life over 12 years ago, for such a time as this. I felt an overwhelming impulse to reach out to say thank you and to let her know how important the critiquing, as well as the sensitivity of her heart has made such an impact upon my life as well as those who now have the opportunity to share in the pages of my heart. I wanted to share with her how important her life lessons were to me, teaching me not to be placed in a particular genre of writing; but to allow the liberty of the Holy Spirit to guide and direct. It was my desire to encourage her to continually share with others and she had with me the importance of proper sentence structure and foundational development of a story line or project.

I logged on to Social Media, to surprise her and post on her page, how important was her ability to share herself with me; how I loved to see the glow in her eyes when she spoke of her daughter, and how many of her writings stemmed from their wonderful relationship….But when I went to her page, I saw numerous posts of how many missed her, her smile, her words, her humor…her LIFE!

I sat speechless….my mind racing, my heart palpating…maybe she’s away on a trip, surely she is away studying for future literary arts to share with each of us….surely! But, not so. Davidae “Dee” Stewart”, transitioned from this life to eternity in the latter portion of 2012.

I share this to speak into your life and ask that you please take heed. I honestly do not believe the lack of communication happens intentionally. I think the consistency of daily activities, along with major and minor incidents of life, may cause inconsistency of conversation.

I am sure there is “someone” in your life that has been instrumental in one way or the other. This person may have introduced you to Christ, or gave you pronounced visibility to your vision. The person I speak of may have listened to your heart and actually heard your silent cry! This individual may have caused you to be the Lady Leader or for the male readers, the Man of God you are today; take a moment and share with them how important they are in your life.

Please, take a moment, slow down and share with those persons who in the past, or are presently making an impact in your life. Be reminded…”What we do now, will echo in eternity”.
The Lady Is Most Definitely a Leader, and I am a witness, she is so important in my life!

The Lady Is A Leader…And She’s Anointed!!

The word anointing has been used so frequently until sometimes its true meaning escapes the depth of its definition. The Apostle Paul had the ability to describe the scripture in a manner which allows the reader to actually identify with the impact of the verbiage.

2 Corinthians 4:7

“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”

To be anointed by God is not only to be divinely chosen, but also to be empowered by Him for the assignment, the task, and for the position to which He has called you. The Hebrew word “Messiah” and the Greek word “Christ” both mean “the Anointed.” Being an anointed vessel is also understanding and recognizing; it is God’s operational divinity giving liberty to freely do what would normally be humanly impossible.

Webster defines the word anointing as: to smear or rub with oil; to apply oil to as a sacred rite especially for consecration; or choose by or as if by divine election; yet it is the manner of which the word anoint is described which truly warmed my heart for the Lady Leader. The word anointed is a transitive verb which means in order for the word anointed to be effective it requires one or more objects to link or interlink to its core value.

I immediately related the definition, the value of the word anointed to Paul’s statement to the church of Corinth….no matter what you are experiencing even now. No matter what you are facing in the midst of transition. Never underestimate the interlinking of God’s super with your natural! There is a treasure within your voice, that’s why when you minister in song, it is not performing; it is the crushing of the oil which breaks strongholds! There is a treasure in you-an earthen vessel, so that when you minister in spoken word, it is the pouring of the oil which destroys yokes! There is a treasure and gifting within you, so that when you write a column, a blog, or a book, the words began to rise from the paper and walk boldly in the lives of those whom are blessed to receive what thus saith the Lord.

It is imperative as God has graced us with diverse gifts and talents that we remain ever thankful and mindful that it is the excellency, upon the interlinking of God’s presence upon our lives. The advancement of family, church, community and careers are solely based on joint efforts, linking one to another, standing in agreement that we are a treasure, yet acknowledging HIS excellence as the gift giver of all treasure with us-earthly vessels, within us, made of clay, within us, Lady Leaders.

Yes, the Lady Is A Leader and She’s Anointed and Adorned For His Anointing!

During the latter portion of the year 2012, I read a post from a powerful Lady Leader who was having this great time of family, rest and relaxation, however she felt as if she was “supposed” to be doing something! Something other than rest and relaxation.

Of course this stirred up “something” within me because I too had been “that girl” at one time in my life. I was listening to the post with empathy, as one who had to learn how precious I am in His sight.

We are the daughters whom he “maketh to lie down in green pastures” … We are the the Lady Leaders whom he “leads beside the still waters”

Psalm 23:2

We are the Lady Leaders, who multi-task; we are the wives, mothers, daughters, CEO’s, Five Fold Ministry Leaders, and mentors who are not aware of our diagnosis. What is so amazing is the fact that even in our times of fatigue, and extreme exhaustion we keep going, and going and going.

Why doesn’t anyone notice we need to lie down? Why doesn’t someone say to us to go and be led beside the still waters? It’s because we make our tasks appear to be flawless. With a child on our hip, and a book on our counter, a roast in the oven a despondent caller on the phone, and sending an e-mail from our I-PAD…..we answer the door with a smile and say ..”Good evening and welcome to my home”.

When will be accept the diagnosis and adhere to the prescription..lie down in green pastures, and be led beside the still waters? We are sooo precious in His sight that the Lord doesn’t “make” or provoke us to lie anywhere and with anybody…the Word says in green pastures or in a place which shall produce peace, prosperity, and is safe and secure. And to make sure we get it…the Word also states he will lead-direct, or navigate my path beside the still waters..the Lord doesn’t want me in chaotic environments, the Lord doesn’t want me in the turbulence of drama, so he leads me….beside the still waters.

Please allow me to share with you, what I found to be the diagnosis; PRECITIS- and let’s give the honor and praise to our Lord and Savior for looking beyond all what we have scheduled, planned and formatted on our agenda and seeing our need.

Happy New Year! What an amazing opportunity to begin anew. This is a time when each of us are given the opportunity to embark upon a fresh start!

The mission theme of our ministry is "No Limits To My Vision and Dreams in 2013". And while I believe the vision and dreams the Lord places within us, is of utmost importance-the key word in this mission is MY. The hope and trust is that in this year, we focus on the individual assignment deposited within our lives. I honor the fact that many of us serve corporately within the vision of a ministry, leader and/or source of employment.

Let's focus on why have you been placed in this particular environment. What has God placed within you that the ministry in which you serve need? What has the Lord developed in your character that the leader you are serving need? What in your Christian walk has placed you in your place of employment, that the company is enhanced by your presence?

1 Corinthians 2:9

"But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."

This scripture is a fulfillment of the prophecy spoken in Isaiah 64:4. The Prophet Isaiah proclaimed this blessing for those who wait upon the Lord. When the Apostle Paul reiterated the message, he pronounced this awesome opportunity for those that love our Father. This is an example of true patience and love on behalf of one who imparts into our lives unlimited visions and dreams.

Should we view this scripture as a personal mission for 2013, I believe our assignments would be more meaningful and not just mechanical.

This is why it is so important to view with a spiritual eye, hear with a spiritual ear and listen to the heartbeat of God. The level of intensity of which we are traveling, does not allow for our seasons to be wasted, our visions to be diminished, or dreams to be tattered, nor our hearts to be broken.

In this new year, make a commitment to our Lord and Savior, that "whatever he places within your hands-that you work it with all your might." (Eccl 9:10) Guess what?

Some may not understand it...even those you thought would, may not. There will be those who will ridicule you. There will be those who may say..."Oh I could do that"..what they didn't know was that, you've been given grace for your gift". On the other hand, there will be those who will celebrate the Christ in you, and will applaud what is evident in your life...there will be those who will HELP!

Never mistake "helpful people" with "hungry people". Those that help in earnest will be an asset to your assignment. Those who help in "hunger" will attempt to devour your assignment in one setting, and when you see it again, it will be regurgitated as a resemblance of them. Know the difference, seek God for guidance as to who goes in the field with you.

This is a season to no limits to "YOUR" vision and dreams...walk therein.....and I trust by doing so we each shall...

If there is anyone you know that loves this time of year more than me? This person would really have to be on auto-pilot because I can break out and sing a Christmas Carol in the heat of the summer!
There is something about the joy we all express, the nods as we pass each other on the brisk city streets. The smiles we share as we wander through the crowded market place, as well as the rays of excitement in the eyes of children; young and old.(wink)

One of the most beautiful aspects of the season, is the manner of which we come together to celebrate what our nation has deemed as the birth of our Lord and Savior.

Commercialism has attempted to dwarf the essence of the season by the abundance of circulars we receive in our postal as well as our electronic mail; yet I am of the belief that it causes dialogue. Allow me to list a few examples:

Department stores ask employees to say “Happy Holidays”, instead of “Merry Christmas”..this causes consumers as well as the employees to voice their opinion as well as make a decision as to support or not to support. Choose ye this day…Joshua 24:15

Should Christmas Day happen to fall on a Sunday, leaders make the decision whether to have Worship Service..this allows congregants as well as leaders to truly investigate the purpose of true fellowship. Let us not forsake the assembly…Hebrew 10:25

As Christians it is a season to evaluate the genuine purpose in our giving to others…So that your giving be in secret ..Matthew 6:4
When we allow ourselves to begin a conversation as to the true meaning of the celebration of the birth of Christ, we may also learn from others their reasoning for some of their actions. There are parents who may not have had the luxuries we so often take for granted today. In this case, they may be more apt to devote more activity to the purchasing of “items” rather than the promise of the Savior.
There also may be those whom have experienced a life of abundance, and want to display to their children, community and/or colleagues the essence of the yearning to spend eternity with the Master.
While both experiences are vital to the growth process, the ultimate goal should and must be in this season, and always to be a vessel which enables others to see Christ through our life and actions.
Celebrating the birth of Christ is such a heartwarming miraculous event; just think our Emmanuel was born through the miraculous conception, walked and lived on this earth, died on the cross for you and I, rose again with all power, so that we might have a right to the tree of life. What greater gift? I must celebrate His birth!
So during this Holy Holiday season, while making your list add the gift of “listening” , and before you speak, check your verbiage twice! By doing so, you too can be a participant of the Celebration of Christ!

The Lady Is A Leader December Monthly Blog will be released on Saturday December 1, however I felt impressed to extend this writing as an expression of my heart.

There are many who are in a state of grief during the holiday season, while we must each recognize and acknowledge those whom are experiencing grief, we must also have factual information

http://www.cdc.gov/ViolencePrevention/suicide/holiday.html

“The idea that suicides occur more frequently during the holiday season is a long perpetuated myth. The Annenberg Public Policy Center has been tracking media reports on suicide since 2000. A recent analysis found that 50% of articles written during the 2009–2010 holiday season perpetuated the myth.1 CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics reports that the suicide rate is, in fact, the lowest in December.2 The rate peaks in the spring and the fall. This pattern has not changed in recent years. The holiday suicide myth supports misinformation about suicide that might ultimately hamper prevention efforts “

Secondly I believe it is of most importance that we identify with the scriptural reference, which pertains to grief

Matthew 5:4

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

This scripture though brief, carries the weight of the intent and the promise for those who are experiencing grief, loss or any type of emotion of void in their lives. Grief is not only associated with a physical death, grief occurs when there is a change in circumstance. Grief may also be associated with divorce, job loss, displacement, illness, pets, and the transition of any type of relationship. Grief appears with betrayal, and the reality of certain truths. Grief encompasses a wide range of internal and external circumstances.

The Word of God says “we” are blessed! The praise in this is that no matter what the circumstances, we have the factual benefit of knowing we are blessed. One writer explains it in these terms, “grief and even weeping are not shameful, but are necessary for healing and expressing authentic human empathy and emotion.”-(Eric Simpson)

No one has the authority to tell you, when you should be “over it”…to often as humans, when we encounter grief, we are clueless on how to address it. Therefore we began to speak in ignorance (lack of knowledge or information). It is our heart that we feel we must say “something” when in reality, there are times when the family member, friend or acquaintance may only need your ear. The person may only need your presence. The inflicted one may only need a hug.

The Lord gave me a word years ago, that “everything is not profitable to say”, this has been a constant learning tool in my life.
As the Word of God states, “blessed are those that mourn, for they SHALL be comforted.” The Word shall is a definite expression of action. “…they shall be comforted.” There is no doubt in my mind that the Lord shall send a word, His Spirit, a song, a person, a fragrance…or whatsoever means He deems necessary to comfort each of us.

Grief has several stages

* Denial- This couldn’t possibly be so!

*Anger- Why would this happen to my loved one?

*Bargaining- If only I did this, or if I only said that…

*Depression- I don’t know how to handle this

*Acceptance- I must understand this is my reality

http://psychcentral.com/lib/2006/the-5-stages-of-loss-and-grief/

We each must allow the Holy Spirit to give us the “opening” to know which stage the person is living at that moment; and if we are to speak to it to the person; or speak to it in the Spirit.

In my studies in Christian Counseling I recall the professor stating adamantly to us as students to “give space for grief”. I know realize years later, what he meant by that statement. We must most allow adequate space for the grieving person to feel we are a “safe place” to release their tears and their fears.

I pray we each have a joyous Holy Holiday Season…while being aware everyone is not singing, Fa, La, La, La, La…some are singing, Father I Stretch My Hands To Thee.

Walk In Prayer and Power
Holy Holidays

“May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us–yes, establish the work of our hands”

Psalms 90:17 NIV

Celebrating a birthday has a way of causing one to reflect upon the graciousness, mercy and favor of God which can rest upon your life.
As I was meditating upon the Word of the Lord, I felt it necessary to seek the origin of the word “favor” as described in this scripture.

What I found to be interesting in my research, was that favor is associated with partiality and being endowed. While I know that God has no respector of persons (Romans 2:11) Many translations use the word “beauty”, this in itself caused me to think back over my life…and I am forever grateful yet humbled by the beauty of His mercy upon my life. This examination gave me a glimpse of the Lord strategically placing you in the right place at the right time. Being endowed with His favor moves you in front, when logic would have placed you in the rear!

This year has allowed a divine favor upon my life and those who are in alliance with me, which is unmeasurable. Being featured during the 2012 Atlanta Gospel Choice Awards was not on my radar or plans, but God has a way of opening a door which provokes you into a place of favor, that’s why we must be ready and positioned.

Having Pastoral and Ministerial staff serve in a very strategic position of Woman Thou Art Loosed- 2012 Atlanta…WOW! Can we say Unceasing Harvest? This favorable opportunity presented a global opportunity to serve, and one which can be forever documented in the resume’ of your life.

The splendor of God’s graciousness is ever present and demonstrates His mercy as we establish, launch and perfect the work in our “hands” ….Yes ESTABLISH THE WORK OF OUR HANDS!

With the favor or unceasing harvest, and/or releasing of His mercy upon our lives, the work that has been given to us, by Him, is absolutely incredible. What is the work of “your” hands which has Favor written ALL over it? Are you an entrepreneur? Are you a designer? What about an encourager? Whatsoever “work” or assignment that has been placed in your hand, coupled with the favor of God is an amazing opportunity. pastorbj

We are placed in diverse situations to make an impact. In many instances we are stretched beyond our comfort zone, what an awesome opportunity; use it as a classroom to learn, grow and develop. Complaining can cause you to miss the essence of the favorable position of which you have been placed. Establish the work of your hands!

Yes, I’m learning along the way and enjoying the experience of this journey. The Lord is establishing the work of my hands; and I am honored to walk in HIS favor which is upon my life.

Psalms 23:2

He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters…

Recently, I along with the Women of Power Team traveled to various cities and states within the past few months. I must say I learned so very much during these travels. Our missionary journeys were called Women of Power in Motion…and this truly was an assignment from God, because being reared as an only child, I truly had some apprehension about being in motion with a group of women.

One of the unfortunate attributes of a Lady Leader is being secluded which is some cases may cause loneliness. When your life is submitted to “the cause” many Lady Leaders end up being or serving many, but not being “with” anyone.

I was so excited to know how God would unleash an “Unceasing Harvest” into the lives of many. What I didn’t realize that I would be a recipient of the glory of this great time of motion, which taught me that there is a remnant of women who do NOT allow their emotion to cause commotion. While this may have been obvious for many, this was a harvest for me. While sowing into the lives of women globally in such a corporate manner on numerous occasions it places the lady leader in a position of cautiousness and extreme uneasiness.

The thankfulness comes in the word of the Lord…where in this division in the book of Psalms encourages each of us to know without a doubt that the Lord will-make, provoke, compel and ignite us into a place of green pastures. Into a divine position of peace and an awareness of the covenant relationships he has allowed us to experience. Not only will the Father place us in a place of prosperity of life- he will lead or direct us to environments of still waters. He has given us the liberty to walk into relationships which will cause all of our uneasiness to be settled. Still…..at peace…without trauma or drama.

A calmness has been released, for the Word of God also states, “whatsoever you sow THAT shall you also reap”..(.Gal 6:7) Many of us have sown into relationships, careers, assignments; yet we’ve been filled with the anxiety of the spirit of what if. What if this happens or what if that happens and we never lie down or allow ourselves to be in a calm place of enjoying the moment, and being enriched during that particular season.

I speak into your life…as He leads you beside the still waters, calm down, inhale, exhale, and bask in the moment and allow the calmness of His hand to caress your heart and erase your fears. I have experienced an awesome time of faith, fun and fellowship with women who have enriched my life. I am forever grateful.

Many of you have had the opportunity to read my latest book, "There's Wealth In The Wounds", which is now in its 3rd re-print. There's Wealth In The Wounds is offered in paperback, Kindle upload as well as in audio format.

Through this literary journey, I've spoken to many men and women who were thoroughly blessed by the content presented; however it also commanded a return to locations many had chosen not to re-visit.

I've heard the term, "location, location, location" numerous times. While writing or recording There's Wealth In The Wounds", I allowed myself to travel to several locations which would serve as wealth patterns for the wounds experienced.

In one of the cities visited, I spoke with a young man who continually played the audio as he drove to business meetings. The gentlemen stated he now understood why his parents stressed the importance of education and developing good moral judgement.

I also spoke with a mother whose dreams appeared dashed because of some "non-beneficial" choices she made during her young adult life, she began to know understand the depth of her wounds and allowed the acknowledgement of her decisions to ignite the wealth of an I can make it" attitude!

I've also being given the gracious opportunity to have those share with me, how they felt their "wound" could not be healed, due to their resistance to acknowledge or accept the fact, it wasn't their fault. This is the place that caught my attention the most, I believe because even as a Women of Power-a Lady Leader, I too have felt the pangs of the wounds I have experienced and asked myself at times...was it my fault? Did I bring this on myself? What could I have done differently?

"Guard your heart for out of it comes the issues of life" Proverbs 4:23

These questions, I began to ponder with much seriousness, so much that my inner man revealed to me, yes some of the wounds I experienced was due to not applying due diligence to my matters of the heart. I allowed myself to take a "brief" walk through some of the wounds I have experienced. The reason I state it was a "brief" walk, because I didn't want the fragrance of those wounds to linger in my presence.

So in this brief yet brisk walk, I found some key factors which would have alleviated some very serious wounds, allow me to share and maybe, just maybe you will see yourself along this highway....

A. I made conscious decisions when I saw red lights, yellow flags and detour signs, but I forged ahead thinking I could "change" the person or the situation. Prov 3:6 "In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your paths"

B. I accepted advice from others, without checking "their" record. Psalms 1:1 "Blessed is the man who walketh not in the counsel of the unGodly"

C. I did not properly harvest seed placed in my hand. Luke 6:38 " Give and it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed down and shaken together..."

The three areas of immaturity I possessed in my past, placed some very significant wounds in my life. In this season of maturity (yet still growing) had I listened, observed and executed with wisdom, I could have avoided some of my valley experiences.

When we make decisions in relationships where the liabilities outweigh the assets in most instances we have been given a glimpse of the outcome, but we place on the SUPERWOMAN cape and forge ahead with good intentions, and great expectations. What we don't rationalize is the expectations we are looking for, far exceed the capabilities of the person or the situation. True relationships provoke divine destiny...

Why do we accept financial advise from someone who is not financially secure? Why do we ask relationship advice from those who have deficits in their relationship bank? Why do we take the advice of someone who just met on public transportation or in the ladies room? Many of us have been shopping and we try on apparel and another shopper may be there and we ask them....How does this look on me? Surely there was a mirror present! One of the reasons I believe we ask questions of those without substance or divine knowledge of the situation, is that we want an answer that tickles our ears. Divine counsel may hurt; but it won't wound...

As I wrote in There's Wealth In The Wounds, my family and I visited a farm and I witnessed only a small inkling of what it meant to harvest the seed properly for profitable production. However, had I listened as a young adult to the harvest facts my parents taught me, my tilling of my ground would not have been so strenuous. It is my goal to invest the wisdom I obtained through sheer "ignorance" on my part into the lives of others. My parents warned me, "you don't need credit cards" in college...but did I listen? No!!!! During my youth my parents gave me a savings book, which during that period it was taken to the bank, the deposit was made and it was recorded in the book....but did I follow through? No!!!! My mother told me to always record in the ledger when a check is written so that all entries are reconciled properly...but did I follow through? No!!!! What did this cause? Financial disaster, and having to re-build and re-establish. Properly sowing your seed, produces an effective flow of harvest...

The walk we have just taken is a walk, which caused me to re-evaluate, and praise God because I had an opportunity to re-visit just how gracious God has been and continues to be in my life! I had yet another opportunity to give him glory, for I now see the wealth in "my wounds" . My heart is to empathize, and encourage others. My mission is to present the ministry of reconciliation as so stated in the Word of God. The Lord wanted me to also know that what He has done and is doing for others, he has done and continues to do for me as well!

So as you read this entry, began to allow His healing hand to be upon you, and recognize, embrace and salute the wealth which is being deposited in your life....and allow the wounds to heal this day through and within His grace and mercy.
