IN THE EYE'S OF MY BROTHER

I SEE

I see that which is not meant to be

Because of that which exist within me

Weather you want to believe it or not

I am blessed for what I've got

If I were to tell you would you ignore

I see thus I only wish to restore

Tarnished is your thought of what is

By that which you've endured just to live

I see the pain of which you do not speak

Knowing in my heart of that which you seek

Yet unbeknown to you here I stand

One who has felt and truly understands

I see that which you've tried to hide

And feel the pain locked away inside

I am not here for any personal gain

What I see I only wish to rearrange

I can't make what's already been made

For I know the price that's been paid

That which I offer God has blessed

A friend you can trust and never stress

I see that which you could never believe

A soul which endured thus you grieve

Be not dismayed is the message I bring

Just look beyond and know one thing

That which is hidden I do see

Honored am I for what God has given me

I truly enjoyed reading this Narrative Poem which told so much about you, your experiences, your testimony and your compassion for God's people and your call to serve the Lord. The last four lines of rhyme verse* is endearing to my heart and ministry that we as Christians must reach people where they are in life "now " and understand that as we work towards becoming an image of Jesus in our walk with God, we all have different calls to reach different people. So many times we ostracize others because they do not fit a mold that we have created; Not God's creation for them, only He has the Potter's hands. We forget that we all seek to be perfected in Him - We give the Word and God will do the work!
