"A BROTHERS PRAYER"

  Giving thanks and praise I kneel to pray

For blessings bestowed upon me this day

Not knowing what in store for me

Grateful for my sight I'm able to see

Strength to overcome all the unknown

Gracious for the seeds that were sown

Tis not a selfish prayer but for others who seek

An answer to unanswered question life's so bleak

Reach within a touch that which is untouchable

Reconstruct that which they felt was indestructible

Instill a sense of purpose to simply move beyond

And they find strength within your loving arms

I pray not for me yet for those you've sent my way

Thus my work is my debt I'm honored to repay

Knowing true friends are few and far in between

Just taking time to acknowledge by what I've seen

It's not easy yet day after day we try

To show the love that flows from inside

So I take this time to offer up a prayer

Knowing my God you'll always be there
