An empty tomb where death lost its sting

Grateful are we all for what it did bring

For on this day our lives were secured

As he arose to proclaim thus rest assured

A sacrifice so great no other could achieve

For in death life once again was conceived

Unlike before the spirit is what now remains

Giving life to those who call upon His name

To be resurrected or simply transform

A way of life in a world of the misinformed

Those who know not or choose not to believe

A debt is truly owed for what you now receive

We of faith cling to a belief not just a religion

Trusting in the word and not what another envision

Simply put as it is written than so shall it be done

Glory be to God for the awakening of His only Son
