MY BROTHER'S WORDS OF KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM

Bless are we for the tree which gave us life

She's withstood the test of time day and night

Deeply planted are her roots of strong conviction

Full of knowledge and wisdom with her prediction's

The time has come for us to repay our debt

And make her Mother's day one she won't forget

That which she sacrificed in midst of the storm

Ensured that we'd always be kept safe and warm

Never unwilling to bend thus she would never break

Where all the things a good mother she did make

Strength to overcome and a willingness to provide

Through it all she has remained right by our side

Precious are the memories that she's collected

A love from within her heart we were protected

With so very little time she managed to do a lot

Never once unwilling to give all that she's got

A sound foundation to which she built her legacy

Taking her time to nurture there was no urgency

Thus to ensure knowledge given would help us grow

And the wisdom instilled within would always show

Grateful are we all for where would we truly be

If she'd not taken time to open our eyes to see

So as time draws near I just wanted to say

To all the mothers here Happy Mother's Day
