ANXIOUS SPIRIT
Philippians 4:6

Be anxious for nothing; a person with an anxious spirit does not trust God, this means that they are always worrying. We shouldn't be anxious for nothing; it does not help us, this will cause a spirit of depression that may cause us to draw back from Jesus and the word of God says that when a man draw back He has no pleasure in that man. Can we see how the devil will send a anxious spirit to us so that we will not trust God and when we don't trust God this will cause us to draw back from God not man, but God; the true and living God that holds all of our blessings and our destiny; His will for our life and all that God says that we can be and have if we don't draw back from Him. When a anxious spirit comes upon us the word of God tells us to be anxious for nothing, but in (everything) there is no restriction on applying these things prayer and supplication with thanksgiving and to let our requests be made known to God. Look at this there is no drawing back for God when we do what the word of God tells us to do. 

 

These four things we must do when a anxious spirit comes upon us- practice of prayer; presenting our requests in prayer with thanksgiving is the antidote and will deliver us from a anxious spirit - no one needs to pray for us; we just need to go to the Father in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving letting our requests be made known to God and I like this and then the peace of God will come upon us (Amen) and this peace will surpasses all understanding and will guard our hearts and our minds through Christ Jesus (this is powerful). This is a direct answer to the prayer of an anxious spirit- to know that God heard our prayer and supplication and our thanksgiving God will send His peace to us to live with us and that anxious spirit will leave us in Jesus Name. Now that God has heard our prayer we must have a life of obedience this is the right response to giving us His peace; because now WHATEVER THINGS are TRUE; WHATEVER THINGS  are NOBLE (honorable-worthy of respect); WHATEVER THINGS are JUST (righteous); WHATEVER THINGS are PURE; WHATEVER THINGS are LOVELY; WHATEVER THINGS are of GOOD REPORT; if there is any VIRTUE (power) (faith) and anything praiseworthy- we need to meditate on these things and the anxious spirit will leave us.
 
Look at this in V7 it say the peace of God now once we do all that this word say- now look at V9 it say the God of peace these are two different things- the God of peace is a richer promise than the peace of God, but the God of peace fulfillment depends on our obedience to the word of God. People of God let's not take the anxious spirit into 2011, but in everything lets pray with supplication and with thanksgiving and let our requests be made known to God..
