The Garden of Your Soul

Our hearts are like gardens that can be nurtured or neglected.
If we leave our hopes untended-or if we contaminate them with the
Twin poisons of discouragement and doubt-
The gardens of our souls produce few fruits.
But, if we nurture our hopes through a firm faith in God
and a realistic faith in ourselves, we bring forth bountiful harvests that
Bless us, our families, and generations yet unborn.

If the garden of your soul has been overtaken by the negativity
that is an unfortunate hallmark of our age in which we live,
Don't be discouraged. Simply turn your thoughts and prayers to
The Father and to the Son. Then trust in God's promises.
And finally, make the resolution to tend your spiritual garden every day
That you live.
A garden is a lovely place to visit if it is tended with care, so cultivate yours
carefully, and then reap the bountiful harvest God has in store for you.

"They that sow bountifully shall reap also bountifully."
is as true in spiritual things as in material
