A city councilman is seeking help for a resident in his ward.

6th Ward City Councilman Derry Glenn is asking the community to help 85 year old Lima resident Ruthie Spaulding fix her roof. Spaulding's family says the roof was recently repaired, but the work wasn't done correctly. Because of that, water started leaking into the house and the leak has become progressively worse.

Spaulding says she's lived in her Elm Street home for more than 40 years and is scared the damage will become so bad, she'll have to leave. Councilman Glenn is seeking financial support, supplies, and labor. To help, give Glenn a call at 419-905-9572.
