DARKNESS FELL

Try as it may darkness shall not prevail

With so little light it's yet to be unveiled

Unable to see we are grateful for the light

Despite how small it will soon shine bright

Testing our character to which we're created

We stand strong for we are dedicated

Looking not for the cause but to know the reasoning

We reach deep within trusting in our feelings

Waiting and praying for the light to break through

Faithful are we on our journey to start anew

Knowing it's not by sight that we are led

But what's within our heart thus we tread

No longer afraid of the unseen or unknown

Blessed are we for what the light has shown

Each day dawns our commitment is reassured

For God has found favor in what we've endured

The light that now shines will never fade away

Because you my friend are standing here today

Peace and love reigns so embrace it well

Blessed is the light as darkness fell
