Good God Sunday Morning – Christmas "Giving the Gift You Treasure "

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

Please take note of the numbers of this scripture number 9 –the number of birthing and the number 6 -the number of man.

As we celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ we give gifts to our family, love ones and friends. If our giving is genuine we give gifts to express our love, appreciation and dedication. Above all of these reasons for giving a gift, Love is the greatest of all. The Holy Scripture says …

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (KJV John 3:16)

What an astounding love must the Heavenly Father have for us to give His Only Begotten Son ,sent down , borne into sin so that we might live again . Borne to be slaughtered as a lamb of sacrifice so that we might “all together, as one”, Christian sisters and brothers one day be united in heaven with Him the Father. What an astounding love for a Father to give, the gift you most Treasure. I began to relate this to how we as loving servants of the Lord being in His image should be willing and honored to give the gift we most treasure, our godly gifts, to give them to one another. I thought of how the world speaks of this being the season of giving but to the true followers of Christ Jesus this is a commandment and should be our mindset. I pondered on how at times especially in the beginning of this walk of ministering the gospel and of being made aware of the godly gifts which had been placed in me, of being fearful, who would believe me? I thought of the many sisters and brothers who have struggled with this same fear and those who still struggle afraid of alienation , scrutiny and mockery; being impregnated with the Holy Spirit to birth out into the world the gospel in its multitude of gift giving’s to a dying world . And then I thought on Mary
A young girl of innocence wanting to just live out her life with her family and friends in the works and comforts of that day ; to one day marry Joseph a good and honorable man and to serve God as her and his parents had done before them. She, Mary is happy, her life seems complete, she is happy being just Mary and then she is visited by an angel, who would believe her?

Luke 1:28-35

28And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
29And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
How frightened Mary must have been what would her parents, family, the elders, friends, the community and Joseph think? How like today, when we know what God has spoken to us by way of the Holy Spirit but we are afraid to speak for fear of disbelieve … we can hardly believe it ourselves?
30And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
31And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
32He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. 34Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

So what does Mary do? She speaks the truth the same as we are to do, give the gift of the prophetic word given to us by the Holy Spirit. Believe God! Of course there will always be those who will rebuke your call and your word. But as in Mary’s life she had Joseph, he was not a man’s man ; No Joseph was a God’s man; And because of His belief in God and Mary he was rewarded by being the earthly father to Jesus . You see God will always have a defense for those who are obedient and do His bidding. God will place godly people in your life to be a support and confirmation to what he has set you to do. These people will have an agreeable spirit, not a mocking, mimicking and hindering spirit. They will be aligned with the word of God and with you not only with their words but also with their actions.

 
35And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Saints of God we must know that we know that Jesus dwells inside of us because we have chosen to live as He “In light and In truth”. We know that the Holy Spirit only dwells in a clean temple, that is why it so important that we continually pray and live with a restored mind, pure heart and righteous spirit in true repentance of knowing and unknowing sins. As we lay in surrender before the throne of grace we must be confident that the work He began in us will be completed at the end of the day. Embrace our sisters and brothers asking God for a discerning eye to see things as they are and as they shall be. The Word says we will receive parts of visions and prophesies (Act 2:14-21). Knowing this it should cause us” to want to unite” so that we might “all fulfill our divine purposes as a whole, knowing our words come from the Father God”. We may be given the blessing to start out with a vision, a word or a prayer and be blessed by it being revealed, continued, and brought to fruition by our sisters and brothers; “This Is the Treasured Gift” that we should give, its godly purpose is meant to keep on giving. Long after we have left this earth we should want not our name or our fame but the godly treasures within us which were given freely and lovingly to others, to still be producing and reproducing anointed works.

19 But Mary” treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart”. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told. Luke2:19-20

Below is an example of a few responses of this divine continuation, the passing down of God’s revelations we have just discussed. Sisters and Brothers we not only possess treasured gifts we are treasured gifts, given from God to give to each other so that we might give to the world for the world to receive salvation. We are not only temples but we are temples housing altars inside of us dedicated to God the Heavenly Father. Within us are built layer upon layer, brick upon brick of testimonies upon testimonies, deliverances stacked on deliverances, faith healings mounted on physical healings, miracles, wonders and witnessing; which all are of God’s doing- Hallelujah! I can see myself in front of your temple (your physical body), your burning altar( spiritual body) and my burning altar( spiritual body) to God, united with holy scripture “where there is two or more” power ;sending up smoke of fragrant worship and thanksgiving in prayers to the heavens. Hallelujah! As God, Mary, Joseph and Jesus so lovingly gave their treasured gift so should we.
In conclusion and in comparison to Mary we have symbolically and spiritually been impregnated with godly and prophetic gifts given by the Holy Spirit to be shared with each other and given to the world so that the Father’s Will might be done on earth as it is in heaven. Understand that they (prophetic ministers of the word) and the gifts they bring are presented with the reverence of the three wise men paying homage to the King. Stand in integrity, be a witness to your sister and brother, be a reflection of the Light.

28 Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying:
29 “Sovereign Lord, as you have promised,
you may now dismiss[d] your servant in peace.
30 For my eyes have seen your salvation,
31 which you have prepared in the sight of all nations:
32 a light for revelation to the Gentiles,
and the glory of your people Israel.” Luke 2:28-32

Oh Lord how we seek you on this day that the Christian believer set aside by calendar to celebrate your birth, knowing this isn’t when you were born. We thank You Lord for your birth, death and resurrection-also your ascending in the glory clouds after your baptism, sitting on the right side, which we sit with you on the right side in Jesus. We thank you for your unselfishness and your agapiness, we thank you for your hedge of protection and provision for the just and the unjust alike, we thank you for your grace and mercy sake of the miracles which are moving upon the face of this earth, to all which has been waiting for the blessing of this season in the name of Jesus. Those who believe this season is a Holy Season of the manifestation of healing, miracles, deliverance, salvation, repentance, restore, rebirth, set free, the light- the sun of the Living God Spirit shinning into every corner-underground of darkness - into the marvelous light which indwells in the hearts of your children. We thank you for the worker from the east, west, north and south interceding now and forever more, as the rushing wind bloweth upward into heavenly chamber to collect the prayers of the bitter cup to pour down with such magnitudes of blessings and favors for this time. Oh Lord your work upon the earth is powerful, in Jesus name. We give you the praises, we give you the honor, we give you the glory, we reverence you Lord on high, we lift our holy hands unto you, Oh Lord, My God - we bless be the name of the Lord. As your angels chase away the sadness and the moving of gladness, My Lord you are worthy to be praise, from the rising of the sun, to the going down the same. Happy Birthday Emmanuel, Happy Birthday:
