I am Not Understanding This Whole Sabbath change, where in the Bible was it changed!?

All the Information I have ,
And I have Been searching The Bible {Scriptures} Daily.........
I find Nothing that say's that commandment { the Fourth} was Change By God Or Jesus!?
Now Man" However; seems to have made the Decision to Change it.......

If Satan Could convince Eve to eat from the Tree of Life, bringing us into Sin
How Much easier would it Be for him to convince sinners, to Change something Holy to God?

I am not convinced, That Jesus Or God wanted {desired}:
that we stop keeping The Seventh Day Sabbath.......

Would someone who really Knows Gods Will for His people........Care to Help A servant Of God.... find the truth!?

I Believe we all need to go back to the Beginning,
Lucifer is a crafty being!
Amen

Have you Considered what God will do If we haven't followed His commandments..........I am leaning not on my own understanding
as it is written......There are many Mysteries God Has Yet to reveal!
For many are not ready or worthy.!..... I am Humbled that God Has Put this on my mind, and in my heart.......This food for thought
Acts 17:11, Psalms 118:8 ~~~``especially when his return is at hand

Amen Dr. B.Jojo. You hit the nail on the head. Unless we are born again we will not see the Kingdom. Born again means being a new creation, not walking after our fleshy nature but walking in holiness through the power of the Spirit. If we don't live according to the Spirit then we will die, in hell, just as it tells us in Rom. 8:12-14, and the day we worship will not change that.

Regarding the Sabbath, the only reason Jesus kept it was because He was born under the Law. He was a Jew and, by keeping the Sabbath and all other commandments of God, He fulfilled the Law perfectly and became our perfect sacrifice.

Col. 2:13-16 clearly tell us that the Sabbath is abolished in Christ - "When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. THEREFORE do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day."

Also, Romans 14:5-6 tells us that the day we choose to worship on does not matter. It says, "One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. He who regards one day as special, does so to the Lord."

A final point is that there are many lists of sins in the New Testament and not one of them even hints at keeping the Sabbath.

God bless,
Mick

My dear brother, I have gone thru your write-ups all of the ones I have gone thru pointed to only one direction and that is the Sabbath and keeping the sabbath. I want you to note that Jesus said, He has not come to destroy the Laws but to fulfill them. Having said that, you should also read the scriptures closely that when people challenged Jesus of not keeping the Sabbath, He asked the question as to which is good whether to do good or to do evil on the sabbath. My brother, getting to heaven at last is not by mere observance of the law and neglecting the weigthier matters of the same law. God Himself made us to understand in His word that for He so loved the world that He gave us His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. This is an aspect that has been neglected. Rather than tell the sinners of the salvation which Christ purchased with His own blood on the cross, we are busy talking about the sabbath. Of what use is the sabbath to a man who is heading to hell even if he stays at home on the sabbath or he comes to worship when he has not known the Lord of the Sabbath? I should think the first thing we should do is to strive to enter the kingdom. My question to you sir will be: which day does one call on God and he does not find Him? Jesus made it clear that the time has come that people that must serve God must do so in spirit and in truth. Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb, are your sins forgiven thee, is your name in the book of life and are you walking each day in the garment pure and white? Read Psalm 15 and Psalm 24 for meditation and Heb. 12vs 14. Let us live according to His words and be watchful for the day of the Lord commeth like the thieve in the night. He is not coming for those who are observing the Sbbath neither is He coming for those who worships on Sundays, rather He is coming for the REDEEMED, the SAINTS of God whose sins have been washed and hid under the cross of Calvary. Are you in the number? If not why not today, for tomorrow might be too late. Give your heart to Christ now and let Him be your Lord and Master.

I was told that the changing of the Sabbath came about when the calendar was changed so the slaves would have to work a longer week. ( Time-frame- era around 540BC) It's been years since I heard this but you may be able to Google the "History of The Roman Calendar" to obtain more info. Good Luck!

Jesus said "Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:18-19

Heavenly Father, In the Holy Name of Jesus I thy Son {servant come Desiring to know the Truth}
I am MIT to some; You alone our God as you Have removed the scales from My eyes, and Brought me out of My slumber { of 40 years } awaking me .......
Many are Called { all are called to return to thee} Jermiah 1:5
So I ask when Jesus said; He came not to Destroy { take away anything} But to Fulfill..
What did he mean! It is written Jesus is The Lord of the Sabbath
For he and God are One.....In the beginning was the word and the word was with him
which would Mean Jesus was there at creation, so he even rested on the sabbath!
{the seventh day Sabbath}!
Isaiah 58:13-14
Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it."
"And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. " Daniel 7:25

"...the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him." John 4:23

Have you ever taken time to consider what it would be like if the world shut down for one day according to the Sabbath day rules given to Israel?
Comment by Mick Alexander on January 20, 2010 at 10:28am
If you look at Exodus you will find many laws which God put in place especially for the Israelites. For example, read Exodus 30 & 31 and you will see some of these laws which were given specifically to Israel at that time and for their generations to come. The Sabbath was one of those laws and Ex. 31:16-17 state this where it says, "The Israelites are to observe the Sabbath, celebrating it for the generations to come as a lasting covenant. It will be a sign between me and the Israelites forever".

In the New Testament, the following show that keeping the Sabbath is not for the church -
Col. 2:16 says, "Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day".
Gal. 4:10-11 say, "You are observing special days and months and seasons and years! I fear for you, that somehow I have wasted my efforts on you".
Rom 14:5 says, "One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind."

Dear MIT,
Consider what Paul said in Romans 14:5 - One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
