BLACK GOLD

Truly is to be the rarest treasure found on this earth

Bless are those who value knowing its true worth

No price can be placed upon such a priceless thing

Its respect and honor to black gold is what I bring

Forged from the earth with her many shades of color

Precious all are they knowing their unlike any other

Darker than the darkest of any night beauty astounds

The deepest chocolate sweet that has ever been found

Black gold remains the truest essence ever know to man

It may melt in your heart but it will never in your hand

Golden brown dipped in bronze with a lustrous shine

Precious was the sand that created a beauty so refine

Mother earth brought forth black gold shaped and mold

No mineral was wasted nor spared in what was to unfold

With a hint of oyster pearl a light tone was to be created

Valued and cherished black gold was eloquently mandated

 There were no stone left unturned it’s an undeniable truth

Black gold’s heritage goes much deeper than any tree roots

Sense the beginning of time no other creation is valued more

Not one shade is placed above the other it’s simply to ignore

Knowing that which lives within black gold one must respect

Therefore be willing to make a sacrifice and most of all protect

No price too high to pay for what black gold gives in return
