Perseverance
God did not bring you out for you to remain still. We should not let anything take our eyes off our goal, knowing Christ. Brethren, I count not my self to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:13-14). We must shake off the discouragements and disappointments of yesterday and press on. Stop looking back at the past for it has been forgotten in your heavenly father’s eyes. You have received God’s unmerited favor (His GRACE) and through that grace comes power that will enable you to do things that in your past you could not have done. Let your behavior towards others mirror your behavior towards yourself. Study the word of God, the more you do the more you will discover about yourself. Whatever God has brought you out of; be it an addiction, illness, abusive relationship, self-destructive behavior, whatever it was you are to persevere. God has power for you to use to help others who may be going through the same situation and by doing so you are showing your gratitude and appreciation for the gift that you have received. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Allow God’s grace to guide you so that you can be a blessing to others. Remember blessings are meant to be shared. Are you persevering? Love Denise
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. (Lao-tse)
Thank you Heavenly Father for you grace, mercy and favor. Thank you for filling me with your holy spirit and using me to be a blessing to others. Thank you for your guidance as I step out on faith, to do your will. I am pressing forward in Jesus name. AMEN, Amen, amen
