Did you know that lack of forgiveness on our part to anyone, especially to ourselves keeps God’s power from operating in our lives? Remember that your past is your experience and we are to turn it around and use it in a positive fashion. Learn from your past to teach others for their future. You experienced what you experienced for a reason, so do not regret it. No matter what you went through remember that you went through for a reason, no matter how ugly, or painful it may have been, God had a purpose for it. Do not forget that there is restoration through forgiveness! We had to go through in order to be brought out! Do you harbor resentments, are you still holding on to anger or pain from your past? If you are one of the many that are, I beg of you for your sake to let it go. Free yourself! First of all you must forgive yourself for holding on so long, for allowing something or someone to live rent free in your mind, for blocking you from the sunlight of the spirit. Releasing the past brings healing and will allow you to live in harmony with yourself and others. Use your past to encourage others. Your weaknesses from the past become your strengths in the present. Your pain can be used for someone else’s gain; your mess can become your ministry. Life is a learning experience, press past your pain from the past and earn your degree in the present to help others in the future. We all can make a difference in someone’s life through our experience. God is at work in your life for good in every detail of every circumstance. God is faithfully crafting his good and perfect will. You may not see it. You may not feel it. But God is in control and he promises to never leave you. He has sustained you all this time and he brought you out so you can trust that he will supply you with the wisdom you require to do his will. Don’t let your past Infect your future! Use it to lift up someone else. God forgives our sins and totally removes them from his memory. Because God forgives our sins we need to forgive others.
I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgression for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. (Isaiah 43:25)
The Lord is full of mercy and willing to forgive us! He never rejects us when we ask for His forgiveness. The Lord will see you through and bring you out. Trust in him and find strength to endure. Start by forgiving yourself because if you have called on him he has already forgiven you. Some of us have to be torn down in order to be re-built to repair damage from our past. It a blessing to say; that we are a work in progress!!!!! His mercy never runs out. Love Denise
