A hill in Jerusalem, the site of the Temple and of the royal palace of David and his successors: a symbol of the center of Jewish national life. A heavenly city, the theocracy of God. A very real and natural place held dear in the Jewish religion of Zionism.
The natural and spiritual are two distinct worlds with rules of engagement. In the First World War there were two nations that of Abraham and Nimrod. You know the story Nimrod and his people were building a tower in a valley in one accord. God scattered them by a communication failure in their language that they spoke. Come to think of it, why was Nimrod building a tower to heaven to exalt himself above God in a valley? Why not pick a higher location, like a mountain? Just a passing thought. Nimrod walked in the flesh where as Abraham walked in the spirit, and listened in obedience to a single God who led him from his country and family into a new land where God blessed Him. In Abraham’s heart I know he listened to God and if we listen to God in our hearts he says He will bless us and keep us because it’s His house.
Ga. 4:6 Who is your Father the one who birthed you? Not in a natural birth, but spiritual.
Ja. 4:5-8 Does Gods Spirit dwell in you? How do you know? Is there a witness?
1 Co. 2:12-16 Who’s instructing you, and of what mind do you have?
1 Pe. 2:5 Is the real-estate a building of God or of Nimrod? Who’s the builder?
1 Co. 2:10 What revelation do you have, and where is the knowledge come from?
Mt. 16:17 The Father’s revelation of Christ is it working to the glory of God?
Mt. 16:16 Peter knew the answer to something that he did not study for.
Ps. 134:3
May the Lord who is maker of heaven and earth, bless you from Tziyon.
Location, location, location. In the business of selling real-estate a salesman desires property that is marketable. The definition of property is the right to possess, use, and dispose of something; having ownership of a thing or things that are owned, land or real-estate. Who has ownership of the believing heart which is the center of a human being?
God said I will make my abode there in mans heart. God was satisfied to have fellowship with one man a he-she Adam. Adam was an eternal spiritual being until his fall from grace in the Garden of Eden. The renewed born again Christian is like Adam before his fall, a spirit being with yet a profound change yet to take place. That change is to have a glorified body, an eternal body. Jn. 6:63 Spirit and life /Water and blood Jn. 1:17 Grace and Truth. God is Spirit and His blood is life. Jesus told us unless you drink my blood and eat my flesh you can have any part of Him. God’s Truth is eternal life when it lives in the heart and spirit of a man. That is God enthroned ruling and reigning.
Ro. 8:1-16 After the spirit and blood of God. Joined to God. 1 Co. 6:17 1 Co. 12:13
2 Co. 3:6
Jesus Transfigured himself showing the eternal body and spirit. Mk. 9:2-13 Jesus restores the blind mans spiritual eyes first and then his natural sight. Mk. 8:22-25
Eyes are the windows to the soul and show the condition of the spirit of man. If God is going to glorify His only begotten Son it is going to be from the heart of the born again believer in Christ, where God resides as owner of the property. Jesus purchased the real-estate with His own blood. Zion is a place in the natural on earth, but it is also in the spirit as well a place for all those who believe in the promises of Jesus who reins in the believing heart.
